Loved this place but the new Bigs (new location a few doors down) is suprisingly even better! I was ready to hate it (loved loved loved Big Shots) but couldn't despite my best effort! Lots of patio space, a few coin pool tables, and excellent service! David always makes me laugh! He may treat you like a step child but he does it with a perfect cold drink and the best sarcastic wit this side of the Trinity River! The regulars are welcoming and down to earth and legitimately hilarious. Love this vibe!
The bottle drinks were at a fair price, I drank enough to get a good buzz. The staff their was extremely friendly. I needed some water and coffee to sober up and they accommodated my need. I don't smoke so the smoky air annoyed me a little, but it was worth it since the atmosphere was energetic. Free ping pong and Foosball, $1.00 to shoot pool, if you can find a table once the place fills up, and arcade games to occupy the time. There are plenty of seating, dj, and a good size dance floor. If you're not into that just watch one of the 8 or do TV's they have on the wall. All in all I had a great time with my friends and went home happy.
The smoking side was pretty cool, but definitely not for a non-smoker. The non-smoking side was just ok. The burger is pretty damn good though!
I went for lunch with a couple other people and the food was amazing. The salsa is homemade & definitely in the top 3 of my all time favorites. They should bottle and sell it!! The queso is delicious and the guacamole tastes almost exactly like what I make (yummy!!!) We had the Texas tacos (brisket) and the chicken quesadillas. The portions are huge and the temperature and flavors were perfect. And the prices were so affordable!! I will be returning in the very near future.
