Great staff, good prices good portion size, however marked down slightly as I did not feel my fish was as fresh as it normally is as on this occasion it was a little dry..
be careful when raining outside as ladies toilets has a bit of a leaky look.

Food delicious. We were warned of a delay with food, but it arrived in a shorter time than expected. Staff were lovely helpful and polite and considerate in our seating, as we had a very elderly couple with us, and they sat us in a quieter area.
My only bugbear was whilst I was trying to order at the bar, there were some very loud, very inebriated men stood by the bar shouting at the tops of their voices to each other and it was difficult to hear or concentrate on what was being said by either myself or the staff.
The staff were very busy but service was pleasant and prompt. We’ll be back

This is a wonderful pub and there is a welcoming and kind waitress called Natasha a blonde lady behind the bar. She is so nice and it's so refreshing to go to a pub with such a smiling face welcoming you. Thank you so much Natasha you made my time at the pub very enjoyable.

Took my mum out for a meal on Monday and we had a great evening. I did have to send my steak back as it wasn't cooked how it should of been but they were happy to change it. Good customer service great price and lovely food.

We really like coming to the Red Lion, great food, good value and there are always offers. However ordering is quite frustrating, on our first visit this year we ordered at the table, it was really good service and allowed us to relax and enjoy the night out without queuing. However this option has not been available on our 4-5 subsequent visits which is a shame, on each occasion we have had to queue whilst the bar staff sort multiple drink orders as well as food orders. We think the ordering at the table option is far more attractive to us when visiting for a meal. If the option was more frequently available we would visit far more often.
