Deshi Spice

My recent visit to Deshi Spice Indian restaurant in Bedford was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and attentive service. The staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome, and their professionalism was truly commendable. Now, onto the food – it was an absolute delight! The flavors in every dish we tried were exquisite, and it's clear that the chefs at Deshi Spice are masters of their craft. Whether you're a fan of rich curries, flavorful tandoori dishes, or aromatic biryanis, this restaurant has something to satisfy every palate. One standout dish for me was the chicken tikka masala, which was creamy and packed with flavor. The naan bread was fresh and perfectly cooked, a great accompaniment to the curries. And if you're a fan of spice, don't miss out on their vindaloo – it's spicy and satisfying. The ambiance of the restaurant is also worth noting. It's cozy and inviting, making it an excellent place for a date night or a gathering with friends and family. In conclusion, Deshi Spice Indian restaurant not only offers exceptional service but also serves some of the finest Indian cuisine I've had the pleasure of tasting. I wholeheartedly give it a well-deserved five-star rating

As we came into the restaurant it smelt like someone had used old dirty mop water to clean the floor, not a good start. But we were meeting friends or I would have turned around and gone to another restaurant. We were served and greeted well the service was adequate and friendly. Food as overall average and the rice portions were poor literary half a cup. Now when your main part of the meal is so small and I've had the same complaint from others since I've been there so not just me, you struggle to enjoy all the other parts of the meal because you end up eating it with someone else's Naan bread. Sorry that s not on a good curry always has enough rice, and at nearly £4 a portion you should get plenty. So apart from the off putting smell at the beginning the was ok nothing to write home about and my friends made it a good night. I won't go any further as I won't be returning.
