Burger King

This morning was waiting in line behind a man, just waiting my turn. When it was my turn, I did not get greeted with any hospitality as the cashier (a white lady) did with the customer before me. I approached the counter, I said good morning. she stood there in silence. As I stood there waiting for a response, I was trying to figure out to myself what made me different from the gentleman in front of me. It happened to be the man in front of me was white and I am black also a veteran. I let that be known because I was wearing my veteran cap. As she continue to display her dislike of the color of my skin, she completed my transaction. So there was a white family behind me so she greeted them with respect. She also had a few words to say to all the white families in line that was behind me about our encounter. As a black man and a veteran, I felt degraded, I didn't expect to be singled out amongst all these people this morning. I was surprised at this level of treatment at an establishment I often support. God Bless America and Support of Troops and Veterans.

Food was good and prompt but the cashier was rude af. Monica was her name. I'm sorry for anyone who has to deal with her. I was telling the lady in the store side and she said that Monica got plenty of complaints. Why she's still there is beyond me. If she's working when I stop in there Tuesday I'll just hit the sbarros instead of dealing with her

They DO NOT honor the franchises typical promotional items you see, paying FULL $$ HERE FOR YOUR GRUB HERE, TRAVELERS, GO TO THE EXIT 44-45 Harper Rd & the Exxon near the Shell has a Burger King, LITERALLY NOT EVEN A MILE BETWEEN THE 2 & They even do mobile app orders and rewards at the Harper rd location! Today the cashier, which was an middle aged lady & after 2 customers AFTER myself, not counting the 4 that was in front me and the time standing there when outside a cargo van full of my coworkers was eagerly wanting to hit the road again, I then asked after she gave the 2nd customer after me's, change to them, if she would please, and explained If I could please get my 1 whopper, only thing I ordered. Because, then I continued to explain why I asked and I thanked her.. she then was "power tripping" and saying with a tone that they was busy and I needed to understand & then she's peering at the now stacking up burgers, fries and other wrapped grub sliding in front of her. I then reminded her my order and she froze reading several tickets holding my burger and the bag... And once I said the whopper with extra lettuce she, told me with a sour tone that, she knew which one, she was checking on something as she stood with her back to me holding my soon to be bag & burger. She slowly after several more seconds tick on and then she rolls it down and it's like slow motion hands it to me FINALLY.... ITs sad I was making us all run late and I explain and that k her, and she still felt some way about it... I don't recommend this one at the travel plaza JUST GO ONE EXIT UP TO HARPER LESS THAN MILE it's better and cheaper if ya like promos

This is from a couple of months ago. The only thing on BKs breakfast menu that I eat is the egnormous burrito. Everything else is too high in carbs. This BK doesn't have it. And the cashier was rude about it. I've been in 50 to 70 BKs all over the country as a long distance truck driver. This is the ONLY one that doesn't have the egnormous burrito. Or me as a customer

Disappointing and a little gross. I generally like BK's burgers for the flame grilled flavor, hence why we stopped here... don't expect to find a typical Burger King. Steamed patties, none of the normal promotion deals, overpriced and not good. Also the place is a mess. For all the money this place spent on advertising signs for the past 75 miles, you'd think they could hire a couple more custodians. Drive the two miles to the nearest real BK or just keep going. Skip this one.
