Wu's Open Kitchen

Beautiful atmosphere. Loved the music. Yummy food and good service. We went late with a toddler and they were very kind and attentive. Ordered orange chicken (came with rice) and the flexible entree with sweet and sour chicken and crab puffs and spring roll. Shared between two adult and one child. Our son loved the orange chicken.

This was my first experience at this restaurant. The hostess was welcoming and peppy when we arrived. We were waited on promptly by the staff. When ordering we asked if they served Combination Chow Fun as we could not find it on the menu. The waiter said it was in the menu you as he thumbed through and pointed to the 10 combination ingredient and underlined the item. We assumed he knew what he was talking about and asked again to have combination chow fun with shrimp, chicken, and beef and he said “that was something they could do”. We also order one of the chef’s special General Tao Chicken. To our surprise the food came out quickly, maybe too quick. The Chow Fun we had ordered came out as combination fried rice but without the beef. The chicken tasted a few days old. The General Tao Chicken is general a spicier dish, however, this had no spicy whatsoever even when eating when eating a red chili pepper. Both dishes came out warm but not hot off a frying pan. The portions seemed more like lunch size portions with dinner prices. Needless to say we will not be coming back.

It's a good place for Americanized Chinese food. It has take out and they are really quick. It is totally out of the way, though. I miss the open kitchen part of this restaurant. There are never any crowds and you can sit right down. Typical food-BBQ pork, pot stickers, fried rice, sweet and sour chicken, etc. Tastes the same as any other place.

I went back with my husband after my lunch group of 20 ate there. The food was very fresh and everyone loved it. I ate the cashew shrimp and it was so loaded with tasty shrimp I had to take some home. The dinner my husband and I had was great, we had the cashew shrimp which was again wonderful and the Kung Pow Chicken which was fantastic. I'm going back Wednesday with a friend... excellent food and service.
