34° North Restaurant

My husband and I chose 34 restaurant to celebrate my 40th birthday. It was our first time in the area and had asked for recommendations and this was on top of the list. It did not disappoint! I couldn't have asked for a better birthday dinner. The ambiance, the food, the scenery, everything was perfect. We sat by the window and enjoyed the sunset, dolphins playing in the water and my favorite boat (catamaran) docked right in front of us. I couldn't have planned it better myself. I wish I could remember the name of our server but she was such a sweetheart. The steak was buttery and tender, one of the best we've had. I am not a wine person but I was in the mood for it and took our server recommendation and it was delicious. The overall experience was excellent. We will definitely be going back!

Our breakfast this morning was great! Shannon was our server and was awesome. She was a great server but was also very informative on the area and great things to do while we were in town. She made my custom order latte with honey, almond milk and cinnamon and did a fabulous job! My husbands crab sakes were amazing and our blueberry pancake was great too! Try the grits also :) The hotel is very pretty with beautiful finishes and the view of Taylor Creek and Carrot Island were beautiful! They say you can see the wild horses sometimes but we didn’t see them while we were there. We were very happy we chose this place for our meal this morning Good job guys and Shannon! 👏🏼

We came during the Sunday brunch. it was my husband’s class reunion this weekend. I’m so happy they chose to eat here their last day of the reunion. It was nothing short of amazing from the free valet parking, the staff to the food, everything was delicious. The restaurant it self is beautiful and you can choose outside dining on the water which is really nice on a fall morning. I definitely recommend 34 North and can’t wait to return when we are back in town.

Did Sunday brunch in late May. They were pretty busy so was glad to have reservations. There were several large groups but service was pretty efficient. Thoroughly enjoyed the I'll Have What She's Having cocktail. Hubby had the mimosa, which was good but looked skimpy in terms of volume in the glass for the price point. The Beaufort Benedict was wonderful. Hubby had the Build Your Own Omelette and enjoyed it. Would definitely go back.

My family and I really enjoyed celebrating my dad's birthday at 34 Degrees North. It's a beautiful space in a peaceful and quiet location, away from the hustle and bustle and parking-challenged downtown Beaufort. We were pleased to have complimentary valet parking and enjoyed the waterfront before and after dinner. We ate inside, but the porch looked amazing. The hostess and our server were very accommodating and a small crew sang happy birthday to my dad when it was dessert time. Everyone enjoyed their food -- my husband's pork belly appetizer was delicious. The lentils with my cauliflower "steak" were crunchy, but that's the only minus I can report (apart from a personal preference not to have music playing in the background, or overhead). The garlic-herb butter and bread were off-the-charts yummy. My nephew loved his mac 'n' cheese -- the sides were very generous portions. Husband's bread pudding and sister's fruity cocktail and key lime pie were great. Can you tell I tried almost everything? We definitely plan to go back. We know many restaurants are very challenged right now, plus it's a busy time of year, so we were pleased to have had such a nice experience -- and to have been able to make reservations.

Can’t say enough about our time at the Beaufort Hotel and their on site restaurant, 34 North! Wonderful way to spend our 10 year anniversary! The food was absolutely perfect! There wasn’t anything we didnt like. The bourbon, rye and scotch selections were such a treat and considering I’ve never had any of that it was fun to try some and learn about them. Tasty! The drink specials were fun and pleasing to the palette as well!! Of course the view was the cherry on top! If you’re in the area definitely make this a priority!
