Nice old little mom and pop type truck stop restaurant. Food was delicious. Waited a little while longer than I expected for the food but was still a positive experience visiting.

Excellent service, friendly staff, VERY cheap food. The coffee is perfectly serviceable, its just what you need. The food is good for the price, comes out quick, well made and filling. The food is actually cooked in the kitchen and not just frozen microwaved junk. The specials are excellent AND they had a curry special for one of the Sihk holidays due to, I believe, a prohibition on meat for them.
Anyway, all over a good spot to stop, even if its a bit off the highway to be much of a "truck stop" these days.
I've lived in the Kalamazoo area for 20 years and never knew this truck stop had a restaurant! I happened to stumble on their fb page and saw several posts about their secret menu and had to visit! I've now been a few times, and each meal has been wonderful. One of the last mom and pop diners around, this place is a gem. The food is hot, delicious, and made in-house. The specials and desserts change regularly. It's affordable and always busy. The staff is friendly and welcoming. This is my new favorite diner!
I drive past this mom and pop truck stop daily and never stop!! Today I had time to stop and man am I glad I did… staff was friendly and food was amazing!!! I ordered a breakwich and tater tots and it was delicious 😋. The portions were huge and fulfilling. I didn’t take the hours of operation picture but I do know there not 24hours and CLOSED on Sunday’s. I want to say the hours were posted on the door as 6am to 8pm. I did notice a port o potty in the lot for any truckers staying overnight. I will definitely return
Service was very slow. Server's were extremely overworked but friendly. Tables were dirty upon arrival and had to wait for them to be washed. The food was good. If they can get all the kinks worked out of running a restaurant, it will be a nice place to eat. I'm looking forward to trying one of their monstrous meals
My first time was an interesting experience. The food was great, dessert was even better. I do wish they had their own entrance and didn't share one with the gas station, but... It is what it is. Staff and servers were friendly. We will be back. Pricing is spot on with the amount they give you!!
I've only been driving 31+ years and I absolutely love this place. Reminds me of 1990 and my twenties!

Small truck stop with gravel lot. 80’s style place with nice diner. They are not open 24 hrs a day but they do have port a potties out in the lot for when they are closed. The staff was very friendly, the waitress was on top of everything, top notch. -1 star for the giant craters in the parking lot.
Food is good and portions are gooder. Friendly staff that will interact with you or leave you alone when you are conversing with your group. I've been to Arlene's a few times and will continue to visit.
