Started going here for lunch since I got a job in the area. Really fast service and the workers are all super nice and talk to you like family. The food is absolutely delicious too, and it's only $10 for a burger with a side included. I didn't even like barbeque before I started eating here. Definitely recommend.

Same food as the newer but in no way new location on Sherwood forest. Friendly staff. Best homemade One of a Kind barbecue sauce ever. The roast pork po boy is not to be missed. Fried okra!

Cheese burgers are excellent; barbecue beef sandwich and curli-Q fries are trademark dish; definitely recommend! Almost forgot: you cannot find nicer staff anywhere.

Hands down, the best bar-b-q in Baton Rouge. There is no better beef po boy or BBQ sauce in the city, and there is no individual kinder than Miss Debbie. Going to Jay's feels like going home. Jay's is and always will be my first stop any time I'm in BR.

I’ve eaten here for a few years and I always get the turkey po-boy. I’m not a big fan of turkey but I love the po-boy with their BBQ sauce. Also the staff is friendly and has quick service
