Excellent boiled crawfish, easy to peel, and so perfectly seasoned! and we were able to get some on Easter sunday without reserving them! thank you!

The Grayson family enjoyed their visit to Marty J's. The shrimp po-boy was packed full of great tasting shrimp. The po-boy bread was perfect. The service was great at a good price. We'll be back for sure to try the mud bugs.

Five stars for casual type eating places. The onion rings are the best..love the onion rings light batter and string type.. not big fat ones. .The boiled seafood is good but not always available so call first if going for the boiled shrimp or crabs..which are not too much heat..just seasoned. I wanted a break from the heat.. It has a comfortable atmosphere like a small town cafe....burgers and poboys are good...haven't had anything I didn't like...if you're looking for casual place this is it...I see families there, and couples, and singles, and a lot of folks just picking it up and not staying...pretty fast.. reasonable prices...

Everything there from the boudin balls to the roast beef poboys to the seafood plates, amazing. Simply amazing. But what's most impressive about the place isn't the food. It's the service and attitude of the employees. Makes you want to frequent Marty J's. Love the place and I go there at least twice a week.

This is my favorite place to get a shrimp or roast beef poboy in Baton Rouge. The staff is always attentive and helpful. Their roast beef is tender and seasoned just right. The shrimp are fried perfectly. The poboy is all about the bread, and Marty J's has some of the best.
