Love the pho. The shrimp rolls with peanut sauce are to die for. The waiter suggested the mango tea, can’t wait to come back just for that. Everything we have tried has been delicious and well presented. Especially love that you can substitute zoodles for noodles.
we went for the first time tonight and everything we ordered was fantastic! Fresh, hot and flavorful! Celia was our waitress and she was very attentive and helpful. Highly recommended if you come to Baton Rouge! My new fave restaurant!!!

The service and staff were great. The edamame was better than any I've ever had and the egg rolls were as expected. I got the spicy broth with beef and brisket. It wasn't very spicy as I still added sriracha and I didn't really care for the flavor as it tasted more like a seafood broth. It was also a little greasy. I would not get it again but would return for service and to try other items.
I have tried Bao a few times through food ordering apps, but on my way home from work, I decided to drop in. From the moment I entered the restaurant, I felt welcomed. The first employee greeted me so warmly! I was impressed by this. Another employee greeted me as I was waiting for my order, and the last employee who handed me my order was friendly as well.
The food was a great temperature and it was quite tasty, as usual! I will continue to be a customer! Awesome customer service!
Stopped in at lunch for a quick bite and was pleasantly surprised! The outdoor seating was perfect for the sunny day. My server was very attentive and my food was great. Definitely worth stopping in.
Definitely the best pho place in baton rouge area. We went in for lunch and ordered vegetable pho and vermicelli bowl. The vermicelli bowl combo comes with grilled pork, shrimp, and spring rolls and is loaded with fresh flavors. Generous portion sizes, beautiful decorations, and friendly staff makes this place truly awesome. They also have bubble tea.
Delicious food, incredible service, friendly staff, and tranquil atmosphere! Loved the decor and the entrance! Enchanting!
I can't say enough about this place. The food and service are always top notch. I moved out of state months ago and came back home for a visit recently, and Bao and their pork vermicelli bowl were a must on my to-do list before leaving again. I'm already craving more. Try their salted lime mojito! Oh, and that peanut sauce 😋
I originally was going for pho as the reviews were great but I ended up going for the Bahn Mi and some appetizers. The serving sizes are large which was nice, as I had plenty left over.
The service was quick and every employee was professional. I enjoyed everything and can't wait to go back.
Also look forward to eating outdoors, it was too windy when I went.
Its the first time i visited the restaurant since the Pandemic. The menu became shorter but the taste still remain amazing. We ordered bam bam shrimp and vietnamese style wings for appetizers and they didnt disappoint. The shrimp was different from the same dish i tried in other restaurants. I think its tempura fried in here and the crisp with the sauce was amazing. We ordered Shrimp fried rice, Bun bo hue and a noddle soup (might be hu tieu & Mi). Everything was so delicious we were very satisfied. The staff was very accomadating as my friends do not eat pork or beef they had an option to order their entree with chicken broth and seafood option. We even ordered Thai tea and taro coconut milk with bobba and OMG they were so so so good. Right sweetness and right texture of the bobba made it more satisfying with the spiceness of our entrée. The only negative i felt (personal view totally) i didnt care much of the fish sauce smell the chicken wings had right when they were brought to the table. Eventually the smell faded away though.
