The food is high quality and well prepared. They have an option for anyone, from a hamburger to filet. The server was attentive and funny.
I had the fish Katherine and it was very good. But my favorite part was the Ceasar salad. I absolutely loved the dressing.
Amazing food and staff!! We came to Baton Rouge for our honeymoon and found this lovely place, our waitress Ayanna was fantastic and the restaurants manager Kelley was so friendly and inviting she found out we were here for our honeymoon and made it very special for us. The food was extraordinary and they went above and beyond to care for my wife’s shellfish allergy. Will recommend a thousand time and we will be back before we leave.
I got the fresh fish and veggies with a sensation salad. All great! At the end of the meal you get a surprise! How did they know I love cotton candy!

Great little restaurant serving a variety of foods. We stopped by for a quick lunch and were glad to be greeted by friendly staff and good food. Two of the people at our table have had a bad experience with one of the managers being very rude at this location, but fortunately that did not happen this time. All in all, the food and service were great and I’d recommend stopping by for a reasonably priced lunch.
We had such a great experience here! The server was outstanding and on top of things, and the managers came around to make sure things were going well. We had a delicious appetizer, salad, and entrees, and a little wine and champagne, followed by coffee. Beautiful atmosphere and great location. Would totally recommend!
What a fantastic restaurant. Portobello's is a great place to enjoy an excellent meal with a quiet atmosphere. Whether you are looking to have a romantic evening, a business meeting, or a night with friends and family, you will be happy here. An excellent meal, and good wine selection. The staff is courteous, respectful, and attentive. This is a not so hidden gem in Baton Rouge!
Our family decided to give it a try for brunch and so glad we did!
The calamari appetizer, which I forgot to take a picture, is light and crispy. The waffle is very good, I think the strawberry butter is made with fresh strawberry rather than jam. The chicken is tender and juicy, however the linguine is a little bit over cooked. Their tomato sauce is a must try, it comes with both the calamari and linguine. It is thick, flavorful and very refreshing, doesn’t have a strong herb taste which I really like.
