Sonic Drive-in

Waited 48 minutes in the drive through due to being blocked in by cars and a curb. There was maybe 3 other cars there and no one was answering the order boxes. This was at 1:15 pm. The owner needs to clean house and fire everyone here because they clearly don’t want to work, they would rather walk around outside and play on their phone or flirt with the female employees. This is honestly the worst service I’ve seen in the city hands down. 75% of the stalls don’t even work(or that’s what they tell you when they don’t answer them. Owner needs to get rid of everyone and start fresh otherwise he won’t be in business for much longer. Edit: Finally got my food an hour an additional 26 minutes later. A BLT, a route 44 Coke and a medium tater tot. Why this order took so long is beyond my understanding. It was ice cold so I’m guessing it it was sitting on a shelf somewhere for a while before somebody decided to walk it out. Also for some reason they put a slice of cheese on the BLT, who does that? They have broken menu order boards just sitting on piles of crates, and the dude that works there with the Chucky doll on the roof of his car parks sideways every single day so that nobody can get into those parking spaces to order, and I think those are the only ones that actually operate properly.

What is up with this place How can a fast food place take so long. It’s FAST food. I’ve waited in line 20 minutes and haven’t even ordered yet. Unacceptable. And all I wanted was some sodas. Been like this since COVID started. 35 minutes. Oh I acknowledge that’s crazy and I would have left if there wasn’t a curb that kept you locked in line. By the time I was able to order I figured I went this far might as well. Sodas were 10/10

Positively the WORST fast food experience ever!!! No customers waiting when I arrived at 830am. The store opened at 8am. The guy that works here that drives the black car with the chucky doll sticking out of the sunroof was just sitting in his car and then 5 minutes of waiting he drives off. Someone speaks through the speaker, says I’ll be right with you. Didn’t happen. I finally went to the window and when I looked inside I saw old cold coffee in a nasty stained pitcher on the counter, hamburger buns left open on the counter, the restaurant was FILTHY on the inside. I mean disgusting. I see spills dried on the floor, on stainless steel counters, etc. GROSS. The health department needs to shut them down and the owners/corporate should know about this incessant lack of customer service.

I have to be gluten and dairy free. It's fairly simple to order a bit with no bread. I specifically asked for the lettuce to be not shredded so I could wrap my tomatoes and lettuce. It arrived shredded with no utensils. I asked for a fork (since the lettuce was shredded) and they said they're out. I'd also asked them to use different gloves because of cross contamination with gluten. With them not following directions on the lettuce, I'm now concerned about them listening on the glove request. It also took way to long to get our food I used to work at a sonic and know good and well that had I been a window shopper their time limits are about 4 minutes. Our order took better than double that. Glad I don't live nearby, I won't return to this location.

Every time I try to order from this place, it takes an extremely long time. Today I placed an order at 2pm, to pick up at 3:30. I didn’t end up leaving with my food until 4:20! When the car hop finally brought out my food, the bag was crumpled and cold. The receipt said it had been ready for over an hour and when I pointed that out, I was told to wait a minute and they’d make it right. 5 min later the same car hop came back out *with the exact same bag* and said she’d replaced it with all new items. It was so obvious she hadn’t done anything of the sort, but it wasn’t worth it to keep waiting. Bottom line, this place shouldn’t remain open if they don’t have near enough employees to get food out in a reasonable amount of time. Last time ordering from Sonic.

Ordered 4 drinks on mobile app. Waited 35 minutes. This happened two weekends in a row. In both cases, I had to flag down a server or press the call button in order to get them to deliver my drinks (you check in on the app and give the space you are in and I know it checked me in correctly since it then says your name and status of your order on the screen). I don't understand why drive thru is not a pick up option on the app; at least they would notice me then. Drinks were made correctly both times except they gave me a large when I ordered Route 44 one time and I didn't complain at that point since I wasn't willing to wait for them to remake it.

I would not recommend anyone go to this sonic the employees clearly don’t care or have standards Or care about your safety and health. I went there yesterday and my burger had brown slimy lettuce on it, it had to have been sitting in the bottom of a pan for at least three weeks . I have worked in restaurants all my life and I have never seen lettuce so Rotten. It was so old it looked like Rotting algae. There had to have been multiple people that saw the condition of that lettuce and they decided to serve it anyway. Definitely something that could make someone very sick and they decided to put it on my burger. It was truly the most disgusting thing I have ever experienced in any restaurant.
