Cool place for horror film merchandise and barbecue. Got a chopped sandwich and sat outside by the cabins in the back. Great little barbecue stop!

This place was a site to see! A must for the horror fan. Lots of memorabilia for sale. Nice cabins to rent each with a fire pit. Outdoor common area with restrooms and showers for those that choose to stay. They say they don’t scare any one with chainsaws lol but a weed eater would do it for me here . Now for the most important part the BBQ sandwich is off the chain ! Best ever! I will be back for the sandwich fir sure. Fun friendly staff . The building has been restored to just like the movie, even the van is here. Kinda scary feeling lol

We decided to go check them out since we used to live in that area and hadn't been there since they redone the place. First the building and gift portion were done nicely with lots of nice souvenirs for those into that theme. My low rating is for the restaurant portion. We went with the intention of trying the BBQ. When you advertise that you are selling food you need to have adequate accommodations and if you don't then you need to advertise yourself as a takeout type establishment. We were going to order but there were only two tables in the whole building, one that had four seats and the other had six seats. There were two people sitting at the four-seat table taking up the entire table, and three people spread out across the six person table. These were tables with individual chairs not picnic bench type that are frequently seen at barbecue establishments to help make more space for customers. There were no tables outside and if there were it really wouldn't be usable yesterday because the temperatures were well over a hundred degrees. So with that we probably won't go back for a second try unless they advertise that they've made an adequate dining space instead of shoving two small tables into their gift shop.

This place was fun to look around at due to the history. The cabins were cute. This review is for the food. This isn't a sit down restaurant where you can sit inside. The only seating they have is outside. When you walk in it's a souvenir shop and that's where the menu is. The brisket was quite dry. The beans obviously are those ranch style beans that you get from a can. The potato salad and Cole slaw was alright but nothing to brag about. The pumpkin bars are pumpkin spice cake with frosting, but they're pretty good. It was a fun roadside attraction, but that's about it
