Went to a large retirement dinner at Martin's West. The place is very nicely decorated. Even though there were lots of people needing to be served dinner, service was efficient, and the servers were very nicely dressed. They did just about everything right except how they cooked my chicken. The salad and vegetables were excellent, but the chicken was dry and not very flavorful. The sauce on the chicken was good, but there wasn't enough of it to counteract the dryness of the chicken.
There's ample free parking and good access for disabled people.
Hip hop crab feast, good fun, lots of crabs, shrimp, greens, salad, seafood salads. To top off the party, open bar premium liquor. D.J. kept everyone on their fest by jamming the old-school mix. A nice set-up of vendors. A nice event space for weddings, parties.
I came here for an alumni dinner. Hadn't been back since High School prom. It still has elegant decor. The food options could have been better. I wasn't expecting hot dogs on the menu at $85pp. But otherwise it was a lovely evening.
I was very impressed with this place. Exceeded my expectations. The food was great. Easy access and plenty of parking. I was not involved in the planning of the event. Not sure how easy it was to schedule everything, but had a wonderful evening at the Maryland State Athletics Hall of Fame induction ceremony.
Martin's is a beautiful venue to have any event! The staff is run like a top fleet and they are all courteous. The event spaces are always clean amd well decorated it really makes you feel like you are in a castle.
I just had a wedding reception at Martins West. Cindy Murphy was our coordinator. She did a wonderful job! We had outside catering as an addition. Cindy worked with each potential caterer so that we only signed a contract after they've been cleared by her.
If you want a venue where you don't have to worry about anything, this is the spot.
They prepared a spread of sumptuous looking food in our suite. We didn't eat, but they packed up food for us to take back with us.
We had a fabulous time. Very professional staff, also extremely pleasant.

Attended a company eventat this location. Not the first time to visit the place, glad they’re back after the pandemic. Plenty or parking, easy access from 695. Huge and nice function rooms, clean rest rooms, good food, staff on top of it, making sure food trays are refilled, fresh and warm.
