Michelangelo's

My friend's apartment flooded last weekend and we spent 6+ hours into the early morning dealing with it. It must have been around 1:30 AM when we left the apartment to search for open restaurants before starting the clean-up process after the water had stopped flowing. The 3 restaurants we knew to typically be open that late, 2 are not on Sundays (which it was) and one just wasn't open. But we saw Michaelangelo's sign on. I knew them to be open pretty late but didn't think it was usually this late. But we were tired and hungry and didn't question it. Though, it seemed pretty shut down once we went inside. We asked if they were still taking orders and they answered yes. Are you sure? Yes. So we ordered a pizza, 2 subs, and a quesadilla. We watched them fire up the grill, pull things out of the fridge, and look for cooking utensils that had been put away already (I heard them specifcally looking for the pizza cutter). Needless to say, we realized they were closed for the night. We weren't sure when they closed, until later we looked them up online and saw it was about 2 hours past close. But the 2 incredible and kind people in the store really turned our night around. The food was delicious and their kindness was incomparable. We really needed that that night and really appreciate it. We'll be going back during their actual hours a lot from now on. Great food is one thing, but being this willing to go out of your way for another person (and never did they try to make us feel like we were wrong when we cleary were) is another level; which they didn't need to do. They didn't know this until we got our order, but they were empathic when we needed it. This shows how much of a pillar of the community Michaelangelo's is. We love them! ❤️

Today was my first time trying their food, and glad I did. I ordered 4 wings and fries and a cheese fish on a bun. Both were delish. The chicken was made to order. The chicken was seasoned and full cooked without requesting it be fried hard. The cheese fish was really good. I'll definitely be ordering again. I'd also like to mention great customer service. The staff was very friendly.

Definitely the best $8.50 pizza in town! We go here on the regular and it’s always pretty tasty and delicious (for $8 bucks!). Their mozzarella sticks are pretty yummy, too. The staff is usually friendly and quick. Support your and this local business! I prefer this pizza to papa Johns, little chasers, dominos and Pizza Hut. It tastes better and seems a little fresher.
