Another awesome visit to Simply Marie’s. The food is home made and delicious! Please wait for your order as everything is cooked to order. The menu is awesome. Staff and chef are amazing. A real Baltimore gem. Portions are generous. You need to eat here!!!!

You ever visit a place and you immediately realize it's special? That there's no real reason it's here and that it's not going to last forever. Simply Marie's is that place. It's a breakfast spot on a corner in a totally residential neighborhood. And the entire place is powered by the love and energy of one woman. The only person working. Marie Branch. The food is literally made with love. We got the pancakes and they were divine. A little crispy on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside. The bacon was great also. There's only one table and about 8 stools. The decorations are a shrine to Adam Jones and proud photos of her son's graduation. This is true Baltimore. Run, do not walk to Marie's.

If you're looking for an incredible diner-style breakfast, literally look no further than Simply Marie's. We found it via Google. We wanted something delicious but low-key since we were dealing with impending hangovers. And, boy, did this place DELIVER! Very unassuming inside. Do not let this deter you! I went with the breakfast quesadilla and a side of breakfast potatoes. Let me tell you...that quesadilla was STACKED! It's thick AF and it was perfect. I was also given the option of like 5 or 6 different types of tortillas for my quesadilla--nice touch. And those breakfast potatoes... here's the thing, I usually prefer my breakfast potatoes to be crispy. So I saw these and I was a little sus...not gonna lie. But OMG are these the best seasoned breakfast potatoes I think I've ever had in my life. And the PORTION SIZE...woah. I ate 1/3 of the quesadilla and a few bites of the potatoes. Make sure you're coming in HUNGRY. I'm pretty sure this will feed me for 3 meals. My bf got the French toast with scrambled eggs and bacon. I asked him for his assessment and he said, "It was all amazing. I don't have time to think of a witty review." Thank goodness he has me. Anyway, my bf was deciding between the pancakes and french toast...the guy working said the french toast was the way to go. I didn't try it but my bf was absolutely raving about how delicious they were. I did try the bacon though and that was perfectly crispy. I noticed that they also have sausage gravy and biscuits. I will certainly be back for those soon. Oh and there were a ton of omelette options. It's going to be a tough call on what I order next time tbh.

I read previous reviews & decided to give it a try as I'm new to Baltimore. They did NOT fail. Food was excellent. My son & I had the French toast, scrambled eggs w/cheese & turkey bacon. Excellent! This is now our breakfast spot.

Simply Marie's is exceptional! Stopped in for my birthday breakfast. It was our first time. We lucked up and came during a time the dine in space was available. There are 7 or so dine sits, so be prepared to take your food with you, maybe to Caton Park, which is 2 blocks away. Breakfast was very tasty and well prepared, and you can choose from many menu options. I had #5 (breakfast meat, eggs, home fries instead of grits, and wheat toast with jam). Portions and cost were on point. I love the service at the place, and the chef/owner was so friendly. I felt like I was at my auntie's house. I highly recommend this place.

Simply Marie's is a great place for breakfast or lunch on the weekends. Absolutely love this place! Sad that it took me a couple years of living in Canton to discover this place. Now that I have, am a regular customer. Food is always delicious. Never disappointed. Recently my go-to meals have been a BLT on white bread or a steak, egg, and cheese everything bagel sandwich. Don't forget to add a side of home fries! You won't be disappointed.

Just like her name says....Simply a nice local spot nestled in a neighborhood. My husband and I just happened upon Simply Marie's. Only a few tables for those eating in. Husband had a sandwich, made very well, I had pancakes, eggs, and bacon. Bacon was crispy the way I like it! Pancakes were pretty thick, but had really good taste. Definitely worth checking out!

Simple and quick corner breakfast cafe! The people working there are friendly and helpful and the food was delicious. A great cafe to grab something quick on the go, or they have limited seating inside and a few tables outside. Great neighborhood spot!

Small place, but so cute and really nice decor. FOOD WAS DELICIOUS . Brought a few friends who were in town from New York they all loved it. My favorite part as someone who does not always eat pokr they have pork alternatives. A+++ Bring your Appetite servings are LARGE yet affordable

I am beyond happy and satisfied with my experience at simply Marie’s. The food was fresh and cooked to order. Our steaks were cooked perfectly and all of the food was seasoned to perfection. The owner was extremely kind and accommodating. She was welcoming and made sure all of my condiments and utensils were easy to find in a separate bag. I didn’t have to wait for a long time for a meal cooked from scratch and my coworkers and I were beyond impressed and will be returning for staff breakfast often. I do not say any of this lightly as I eat from my own kitchen and MAYBE a few other restaurants I frequent that I can TRUST! I will be adding simply Marie’s to that list 😉 Thank you so so much for making our day! We loved the food and we love you!

Great experience overall. We ordered pancakes, sausage and gravy over biscuits, and an omelet. Everything was exactly as I hoped it would be. Well-priced, great portion sizes. compared to other local brunch spots, this place is the best bang for your buck. Everything was flavored well but not overly done. Service was excellent from the phone order to pick-up. Will definitely be returning in the future!

Amazing Service and Food! If you Are looking for Home Cooking for Breakfast this is your place! Eggs Benedict w/ Home fries tasted amazing. My wife had the Lakewood omelette w/ grits and was very pleased. Please give this wonderful establishment a shot for your next breakfast excursion!

Why go to iHop or Denny’s when you have this little gem of a breakfast spot. I had a simple, yet tasty breakfast and I would gladly return again. SN: I didn’t see the option to dine indoors, only outdoor seating. Flies were annoying but that’s not the fault of the restaurant.

Best breakfast In Baltimore! Staff is super friendly! Can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Seating is limited. If they are busy, it's only a 5 min walk to "Canton Waterfront Park."

Best breakfast in the city. Chicken and waffles are superb and my usual go-to. But you can't go wrong with any of the breakfast sandwiches. Biscuits are amazing. Ingredients always seem fresh and the portions are pretty large. I never leave out of here wishing I ordered more food. They close at 2pm so be sure to plan accordingly, especially on the weekends.

Yes, simple, but all the better for it. The pancakes had a slightly hard sweet crust and fluffy inside. Omelet great too. And so much cheese in the grits. Was really pleased.

Best Belgian waffle!! And a taco omelet, who knew. Great service and prices.

This place is awesome! Hidden gem for sure. Been here twice, fast service, friendly staff, delicious food. Its not a glamorous bottomless brunch, but a great local owner runs this little spot. Super nice lady and great cook! Perfect for a quick sit down or carry out breakfast. I had French toast and it's the best I've ever had. Only disappointment is that I didn't find it sooner.

This place was great & I recommend it! We were looking for a mom & pop place, Simply Maries was PERFECT! The coffee was on point. My husband ordered a Belgian waffle with strawberries & turkey bacon which he loved. I ordered the biscuit & sausage gravy with home fries, it hit the spot, it was delicious!

This place has great food. My eggs was seasoned right the bacon was crisp scrapple was good and the French toast was to die for I'm going back soon.

I see that this place have a lot of good reviews , unfortunately my experience with this restaurant was not good. The food was horrible , I order an vegetable omelette with home fries . The food presentation was horrible , but I simply wanted good food so that didn’t bother me much. The omelette was watery, slimy , tasteless and super cheesy and the home fries were burnt. I mean like not a little burn , but burnt throughout . Needless to say , I will not be returning to this establishment

My breakfast was outstanding i had french toast pancakes eggs and bacon with some very delicious coffee my first time there and i will definitely be back.

All this time I thought the best breakfast spot was a distance away. NOT! I ordered an Omelette with Spinach, Tomatoes, Mushrooms, Onions with Fried Potaties and Wheat Toast. Fast delivery and food was seasoned just right. DELICIOUS!!

A true breakfast gem !!! After eating there one can truly see why they are rated #1 for breakfast !!! All I have to say is Biscuits & Gravey and Chicken & Biscuits !!! With that said, the rest of the menu is amazing too !!!

I can't say much more than their food rocks my world! The staff is friendly, and I have never had something I didn't love.

VERY VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED!! This was actually my 2nd time at this restaurant. The 1st time was fairly decent and the food was delish! However my experience today was piss-poor and the owner was EXTREMELY RUDE!! I ordered the pancake breakfast and did not realize that powdered sugar came on them so I kindly asked if I could get some without sugar and she rudely replied, "Look! I don't have time for this today!" Then when the food came out, the bacon was burnt, my eggs had dirty grill particles all over them, and the pancakes were not done and very gritty as if the batter was mixed with something. The cashier came by and asked if everything was good. After expressing my concerns politely, he relayed them to the owner (Marie) and instead of offering an apology or refund, she said, "its always one! She can leave my restaurant." And I did just that with my class in tact. I WAS DISGUSTED and this experience completely ruined my Mother's Day! 1-star is TOO much for this place!

If you are hungry and near Canton... Get the giant Biscuit sandwich! amazing fresh biscuits piled high with eggs, cheese, and meat!! I love the omelettes and homefries are great too! Wonderful every time and always a full belly!!

Marie is sweet as sugar and the real deal. She was a joy to converse with. Her food is made with skill, experience, and love love love. Huge portions that reflect the size of her heart. We'll be back and if you have thought about trying out this place, just do it. It's fantastic.

Best breakfast spot hands down!! The owner is very polite and down to earth. And boy can she cook!! Everything from scratch. If you have not been here your missing out. A must do for tourist and natives!!
