Review Tortilleria Sinaloa - Baltimore

This is a hole in the wall kind of place (usually the best kind, and this is), there is limited lunch counter space to eat. My friends were expecting tex-mex, this is as authentic as you can get, authentic tacos no sour cream, no cheese just cilantro, onio s and lime and it is amazing!!

This establishment makes their own fresh tortillas daily! I was very impressed, upon entering, that a man had a tortilla-making machine running at the front counter. I ordered two tacos with extra chicken. The tacos were ready in two minutes. Needless to say, the tortillas were delicious. The chicken was dry, but flavorful. Curiously, the texture and flavor of the tacos were more reminiscent of a Chinese wonton than a taco. Despite this fact, the tacos were scrumptious. Two zesty sauces were also served with the tacos. I appreciated the tasty radish garnish. Don’t count on the tacos to fill your stomach. I would need ten tacos to fill me up. These tacos, however, are a tasty treat (and worth $10)!

Best tortillas in the city! This is a gluten free taco lovers paradise. Whole place is wheat free. You walk in and it’s a few lovely workers making fresh chips and tortillas. You order how ever many tacos you want for a great price. We ordered all in Spanish and felt so welcome. Loved the experience will absolutely be coming back for more

Exceptional tacos and guacamole! Had the Al pastor and carnitas — both were great. The habanero and tomatillo sauce that come with were excellent. Guac is pricy but you get a lot. Primarily a take out spot but they were super fast—didn’t wait more than 5 min for my order. One of the best I’ve had in the neighborhood—will definitely be back

Went for brunch. Had menudo and my gf had tacos. Food was awesome, and customer service was great. Felt like I was at home. Definitely will come back whenever I am in Baltimore!

This place is a must every time I’m in Baltimore. I don’t think the owner is Mexican but most everyone who works there is and they make thousands of fresh tortillas every day. I love stopping by early to eat eggs and chorizo when the tortillas are fresh & hot. The tacos are a must and I particularly love the barbacoa & al pastor but you can’t go wrong with any taco option. They make good tacos de lengua too.

The best tacos and tamales I’ve had in a long time. I ordered three tacos (barbacoa. Asada. and chicken). The barbacoa taco was my favorite! It was juicy and tasty! The tamales are also delicious! This place makes authentic Mexican food, unlike so many other Mexican restaurants. The service was fast and courteous. The food is to-go only. There are no tables or chairs to sit on the premises. I walked a few blocks to eat on a harbor-front bench, though! I paid around $24, which may sound expensive; in reality. I got a lot of food, I highly recommend this place next time you’re in Fells Point!

Extraordinary sauces the smooth orange habanero has just enough sweetness to make it perfection and the green tomatillo is so good you can drink it not too salty more briney. Had 2 Al Pastor tacos filled to the brim with double tortillas onions cilantro. Great shredded pork not fatty cut like carnitas almost no pineapple. Prices have gone up Tacos at $5.00 but im fine with paying that for this quality plus it's pandemic people so deal with it. Worth a stop.

Voted Best Tacos in Baltimore...I can see why. I visited Tortilleria Sinaloa in mid August and tried their most popular tacos (Beef Cheek, Beef Tongue, Pork and Mexican Chorizo) on hot, freshly made corn tortillas. Each meat has its unique delicious flavor. With the added chopped onions, cilantro, a squeeze of lime and a touch of any of the salsas...very authentic. Just like we get back home in Deep South Texas. The tortillas are sold by the kilo (2.2 pounds) for $ 3.00... great deal.

I have been going there for years. Best tacos in town. Got the awards to back it up! Nice that they tolerate my school boy spanish.

Sheesh these tacos are excellent. Can’t skip the chorizo and grab a bag of tortilla chips for the road

If you were born and/or raised anywhere near authentic Mexican food, your brain will light up and your mouth will water the minute you walk into Tortillería Sinaloa. The tortillas are made fresh. The food is deliciously cooked and seasoned. The tacos are out together with love. Each bite will transport you to Mexico (or the American Southwest if you haven’t been to Mexico). The barbacoa is tender and perfectly braised. The beef is seasoned to perfection. The chicken is a great alternative to the red meats. And the chorizo... Dear God, the chorizo. All tacos are topped with your choice of onion and/or cilantro. The salsas are spicy enough to add flavor to the tacos without overpowering them. Finally, the staff are courteous and will try to accommodate you. Space is limited to about eight people sitting and two standing. So order to go at their busiest time, or stand and eat while chatting and enjoying the sounds and smells of multicultural Baltimore. Highly recommended.

There's a reason why this place is a Baltimore favorite! The chorizo & egg plate is my go-to, along with a tamale de rajas!!!!

I believe it is the best Mexican food on the entire east coast. It has been very difficult to find good authentic Mexican food since moving away from the West coast and this place makes me feel at home. They only serve a limited selection of items, tacos, tamales, soup, but it is worth it. They make there own tortillas everyday so get there before 11am to get them fresh! Small place and can be tough to find a seat, but still it is worth it even if you have to stand.

Got in there early because I wasn't going to be able to go for lunch. Lengua and barbacoa tacos for breakfast should be a thing. The tortillas are as fresh as possible, literally coming right off the line and onto your plate. The lengua was super tender, the barbacoa seasoned beautifully with an rich flavor. Fantastic. 14/10 would recommend.
