Review Wicked Sisters - Baltimore

Cristian was a great waitress. Everything was perfect! Casey was a great hostess. I took my niece and family here to celebrate her 21st birthday 🎂!

I was expecting more based on all the hype I'd been hearing about this location. The atmosphere was OK. We sat at the bar and the bartender immediately came over and placed the drink, and food menu down. I ordered the mule, and it wasn't good. When I got the bill they had charged me 9 bucks for the mule, then 3 bucks for the ginger beer. I then ordered an Old Fashion which was spot on. My friend ordered the Paper plane which she said was good. For an appetizer, we ordered the delicious crab dip. Downside they give you three small pieces of bread. Even for 1 person it isn't enough. We requested additional bread only to receive 2 more small pieces. The bartender understood our disappointment and said he had brought it to the attention of management. For lunch, I had the 14-ounce sirloin, gouda grits, and garlic mushrooms. The grits were the best thing on the plate. The steak had zero flavor to the point I did the unthinkable and asked for steak sauce. Overall staff was nice and friendly. My friend had a McCabe burger and said it was fine.

Nice place to stop by for a snack and drink. Nice cocktail selection 👌🏻 My Cashmere Sweater is a must to try - very cozy and warm cocktail to sip enjoying the charcuterie board.

Honestly, I was super amazed and impressed. Tried the Insanity burger, and it was probably one of the best I have had in all of MD. Must stop! And the atmosphere on the upstairs patio, great!

Their Brussel sprouts are delicious if you don’t mind sweet vegetables. My burger was great too. Our server was very polite and accommodating. Wonderful date-night choice. Highly recommended.

This place is really nice, small but still really nice, the atmosphere is good. The food is incredible, my hat to the chef, because those Brussel sprouts and I don't even like bridle spirits, but these make you eat Brussel sprouts! The crab do had you kicking your fingers and burger and side salad only thing the drinks atlas the one I got blueberry something was weak. But, alum in ask a nice little spot to visit. I would recommend it.

I was certainly not expecting the warm reception we received and the overall cozy vibe at Wicked Sisters. The ambience was great and the owners obviously put a lot of time and effort into their restaurant's presentation. It has an industrial vibe with white exposed brick walls and rafters, interested wall art and quotes for you to ponder as you climb the stairs to the second floor. Two bars on each floor is an added bonus if you have a reservation and arrive early as we did. The staff was just stellar. The host pointed out the upstairs bar and then came to get us when our table was ready, and even waited for us to settle up at the bar and then show us to our table. That kind of attention does not go unnoticed! Our waiter was attentive and friendly. As for the food, I ordered the chicken wings with mango habanero sauce. They were practical and no frills. My wife and I both had steaks. She did the NY Strip with the Brussel sprouts, which she loved, and I went for the Cowboy steak with fries. Mine was proportionally sized for the price (which was $60). Unfortunately, the steak was chewy and was not as enjoyable as I wished it could have been. It also had too much fat on the cut for the price, and I'm not an extremely picky eater. I would be willing to try other options on the menu if we are in the area again.

Hands down my favorite restaurant to spend time now that the patio has reopened! As a vegetarian, I would love a couple more options because I want to come so frequently but don't want to get sick of the couple of veg meals they got. Overall amazing establishment, vibes, food and they play great music on the speakers :)

I took my niece here for her 21st birthday with the family. Casey was a great hostess and Cristian was our server. She was excellent. Everything was great! Great wicked sauce and cranberry crush.

Had brunch here on Saturday. This is the second time we have had brunch here and both times were great! We sat in the outside area. The staff was friendly. We started with the mussels which were really good. Then the shrimp and grits, also amazing. The insanity burger and fries were good. The burger was a bit messy to eat with all the coleslaw but maybe that’s what makes it insane. The fries were thick, crispy, and cooked perfectly. We also had a couple of drinks but I only took a picture of my lemon basil blueberry crush which was very good. Can’t wait to go back!

This is a cozy place to grab a bite. I love Brussels sprouts, so that's what I had. They were decent, a tad bit oily, but decent overall. The service was fast and friendly. A winner in my book. I'd try them again. Less one star for no soup on the menu... I love eating fairly light on Sundays, so I would have enjoyed a crab bisque or tomatoe soup.

Stopped by Wicked Sisters for a dinner with an old friend and had the absolute best experience. Food was amazing, drinks were great, and the service was out of this world. Tristan went above and beyond; between his wonderful recommendations and excellent service, he definitely made the whole experience one to remember!

As someone with food allergies, the options to go out to eat are pretty limited. The food here was incredible!! It was delicious and I left with a full stomach (which rarely happens with limited menu options)! The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating to my allergies. Many restaurants get annoyed with the request to accommodate. Not here! They were beyond fantastic. I had the rockfish with mushroom risotto 😍 And the zero alcohol kiwi drink was fabulous too! We will definitely be back when we are in the area!!

Had a fantastic time here with good service and an even better "vibe". The staff was really friendly and accommodating- booked a reservation through RESY and showed up 40mins earlier and they seated us just fine upstairs (it was around 3pm and not too crowded). The crab dip was to die for as well the two drinks we (wife and i) had (the evening tide and one punch). Their mussels were also pretty tasty. Sadly the other food was rather lacking. The chicken and waffles were ok at best- the chicken crispy and a nice golden brown but rather dry just like the waffles. I had the steak and eggs and the steak was done beautifully! Moist and just the right amount of red. But lacked flavor. The eggs for both of our dishes lacked flavor/salt entirely which was a shame because they had a beautiful color to them (we both ordered scrambled with cheese). The potatoes were well seasoned and as much as i despise brussel sprouts they were actually really tasty and succulent. Overall a great place for drinks and a good atmosphere. P.s they don't have sweet tea if that means anything to you all.

Wicked Sisters may be my favorite restaurant in Baltimore City. The interior is urban industrial chic, the staff are friendly, and there is generally no long wait for service (a HUGE pro!). Above all, the food is phenomenal. I am a fierce critic of Baltimore crab cakes but theirs is AMAZING; flaky, meaty, and flavorful. The Brussels sprouts and mussels were outstanding. I also tried the salmon BLT and I wish I could get salmon this great everywhere! Last but not least, I’ve tried 3 cocktails and they were all stellar. Please please make your way to this amazing establishment ASAP, you will be astounded!

The burger was excellent. Good meat to bun ratio and very flavorful. The coconut Smith Island cake was lovely. The service was friendly and attentive. It's a small place and was a little on the noisy side since there was a very boisterous party near our table. I'd like to go back for brunch when I'm in Baltimore again.

Husband's birthday party with friends: we were seated on the 2nd floor, at the gallery. Food was good and portions were extremely generous - to the level that none of us was able to finish any dish. Started out with very good onion rings and just good roasted Brussels sprouts with sriracha (charred but slightly undercooked, for my taste). Then proceeded to soup and salads: very fresh wedge salad with good light blue cheese dressing, Caesar salad, house salad, and squash soup - all good. Entrees varied from choices from appetizer menu to sandwiches as we were getting full... Meatball, chicken, and grilled cheese sandwiches and huge bowl of mussels and garlic Parmesan fries. Again, solid food and huge portions - leftovers galore... Desserts: my eagerly anticipated wine cream turned out to be a sour concoction with wine-y aftertaste, crowned with whipped cream - very disappointed as this was the only dish 'with a twist' on the menu... huge sundaes were reported to be good... Drunks: my Palomaesque with smoky mezcal and grapefruit was very tasty but a friend's Flamingotini was cloyingly sweet... Service: attentive and knowledgeable waitress but kitchen kept sending up dishes way before we were finished with the previous course - did I mention that portions are huge? Generally a lovely outing - this place is good for a casual dinner with friends!

The meals are very good, we both had specials for St. Patrick's Day which were solidly good without being cloying- I had a porcini-crusted salmon which came with Parmesan grits* and a green bean medley** and Dave had the Shepherds Pie. As well as some nicely poured Guinness. I asked if I could change my meal a bit and the chef was cool with it. *I can't have corn because I needed more challenges in life. So I got mashed potatoes- apropos to the holiday and quite tasty. The salmon was also very good, if a bit more done than I usually like/get. If the crusting prep is the reason for its doneness, sign me up! I don't love the overuse of "umami" but that's exactly what I got there, and pretty perfectly. **I also had a side of broccolini that was really very good, just not a green bean medley. Dave said the Shepherds pie was very good. It had a combination of ground lamb and beef with celery, peas, carrots, and onions w/ mashed potatoes on top (pretty authentic- A.) He said the vegetables in the pie could have been in larger chunks, but maybe that's a personal preference. We split a piece of the Smith Island Cake- the Maryland state dessert, made of 8-10 layers of vanilla cake with chocolate frosting (traditional flavor) and it was good as always. If you haven't had that you really should at least go just for it. There is always an alternative flavor and a bread pudding but it's hard to get away from that beautifully frosty cake. So, go to Wicked Sisters. Make a reservation though, and use the valet if you're not familiar with the area because parking's tight and they have a ton of off-street spaces they've rented out. It's a nice, unpretentious place with good food & drink. Expect to spend $60-100 for 2 depending on drinks. We were under $100 and satisfies with special entrees, dessert, drinks and tip. -They also have a line of $$$ whiskeys I would looove to try. If anyone wants to treat!!

It was ok. I just came at the very end. It was listed as 7-9. They only had 55-57 vegan guest or drinking vegan guests (as wasmentioned this morning in the thanks). I’m confused however at 8:30 the desert was gone. I was unable to get the full course vegan meal. I was not happy with the vegan soup substitute. If you say you serving vegan from 7-9 be prepared. Especially with a well known establishment like yours I certainly did expect better. Same thing happened last year or last time I went during Vegan Restaurant Week. I was so ready for that vegan Peach 🍑 cake 🍰 lol 😂.

We reserved a high too table. I noticed a loud humming machinery noise at the table so the hostess switched our table no problem. Colleen was our excellent server. Deliscious cocktails. My hubby had the seasonal one & I enjoyed the orange crush. We both got salmon salads-salmon was cooked to order & salad was fresh & crisp. The bartender made an extra strawberry basil crush that he couldn't sell so Colleen brought it to me on the house. Red velvet layer cake was a nice end to the meal. Definitely will be back

Our first time there. A bit far away if you live in Montgomery Co. but our friends had been there and wanted to go back. The food was great. I had the crab cake sandwich which was very good (chunky all crab meat, no fillers, as they should be in Maryland). You should try the sweet and spicy Brussels sprouts appetizer. What? Brussels sprouts? I know, I'm not a fan either, but these are insanely good. The service was excellent (5 stars). I can't remember his name, but our server was outstanding. They have valet parking, so you don't have to worry about parking.

My husband and I went to this place while in the area from Texas because we like to go to local and small business supporters. The food was good although it seemed to take a while and we only ordered two appetizers about 45 minutes after opening. When we walked in we were not greeted, I had walked to the stand and said hello, no answer until I took my sunglasses off and starred at one of the gentlemen. If it wasn’t for our waiter being so awesome, the experience would have been ruined. Thank you waiter!

Our family and friends had Mother’s Day Brunch May 13th and I must say everything was amazing. We got a variety of different meals from breakfast platters to crab cakes to sandwiches and muffins and everything was delicious. The Brussels Sprouts were incredible! The service was fast and friendly. We will be back......a lot

We just left there for a Mother's Day brunch and had the best time! We were surprised with a complimentary mimosa and flowers for the moms. Our server, Alex, was hilarious and excellent. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was wonderful, the drinks were great! We'll definitely be back for sure!

Had a wonderful time at dinner with great friends on a busy Saturday nigh. Our server Dana was the best! We had 7 people in our party. Dana memorized all our names, very personable, friendly and attentive. Really made our night, all the better. Food was wonderful, also!

I've been here twice and both times I have not been disappointed. The food is delicious and the staff are super nice. The ambiance is trendy but not obnoxious. I highly recommend the Brussels sprout appetizer and the Insanity Burger. Yum!

I honestly enjoyed everything about this place. The food, drinks and atmosphere were all perfect for this TX girl visiting for a week. I need you to come to Arlington TX!
