Fine dining in the heart of Baltimore. Restaurant private parking across the street. Very safe neighborhood where this restaurant is situated. Nice food and and clean atmosphere. Very good gentry . Prices are okay. Some dishes haven’t lived up to their descriptions, like lamb shank . Overall I would recommend this restaurant to everyone. Owner, she is a very humble and friendly lady and most of the dishes comes from her direct supervision.

The quality of the food is excellent! We ordered 4 different plates. The mushroom soup, moussaka, grape leaves, salmon & lamb chops and everyone of them were so very delicious. If we weren't so full, we could have stayed longer & eaten more. The beer & wine were great as well. The server was a delight! It was an anniversary celebration for us and we were so blessed & happy to choose this restaurant. It was a beautiful evening to dine outside! We will be back for sure because Maria is an excellent chef!

Pretty decent food. I really loved the hummus and pita from the appetizer menu. The pita was fluffy and flavorful, and the hummus was quite creamy. It seemed pretty authentic to me, but I’m also not of Mediterranean descent. I got the grape leaves and some pasta dish I’m blanking on. Both were flavorful but I particularly liked the grape leaves. They came with a tangy white sauce that tied everything together. Portion sizes of the main dishes were pretty small compared to price. The falafel dish came with a measly 5 falafels! This is a high end restaurant, so if you’re visiting, you probably expect that. Service was great. Our waitress welcomed us warmly and was patient while we were confirming our order. The ambiance of the place is also great — makes you feel fancy. I’d highly recommend sampling more of the appetizers if you’re on a budget. Otherwise be prepared to splurge! 7

We had such a nice time at the cozy bar. The service was excellent. We had a whole fish and the sampler of salads and it was all delicious and such a good variety from cold cucumber salad, a luscious yogurt sauce, potato, grain salad, carrots, peas, rice and lentils a total feast. The pita was fresh and hot. It was lovely.

Stayed at the Inn at The Colonnade Baltimore - a DoubleTree. 5-minute walk. Customer service was excellent. So many items to choose from on the menu. Ordered the grilled octopus, grape leaves and the salad sampler. Had to walk back because they forgot my Pita. The Pita was freshly baked, hot and delicious. Food was amazing and prices were about the same at the DoubleTree restaurant. After walking back and enjoying this amazing meal... Wished they would have suggested a dessert! It was hidden on the menu and I was too tired to walk back to order that evening. If you are staying at the DoubleTree...Eat here!!!

This was my first time dining at Cyprians and, since I had heard such great things, I was expecting to give my experience a 5 star rating. The food was delish. I ordered the hummus, which was accompanied by fresh air-fluffy hot pita and a shrimp dish. I give the food a chef's kiss! The best pita & hummus I've had in a very long timrme. I sent the cocktail back, but my date enjoyed their drink, so I'll blame my taste buds. The service started off superb and then dwindled to us having to look for our server. The atmosphere was very much the same. When I walked in, I immediately noticed what I call a sexy bar - full stocked, lively with beautiful people enjoying exotic cocktails. That spectacular visual was doused with a glimpse of the dining area immediately to the right. I was underwhelmed. It felt as if I was dining in my grandma's basement. The tables were entirely too close to have an intimate conversation without fearing people at the next table could hear. Metal shelving was used as a partition, which made no sense to me. It just made the dining area look like a pantry. But, even with my criticism, I'll go back for the food and the sexy bar!

Went by on a Friday night with reservations. They have both bar and table seating. Ambience was good, did think the decor appeared somewhat half hazard with shelves and crates separating some tables. We were seated by the fireplace which was lovely. Our waiter Hannah was enthusiastic and professional, and made some great recommendations. On checking in with Yelp there was an offer for a free glass of wine with the entree. When we inquired about it they said it’s no longer valid (from the pre pandemic era) which was disappointing. The cocktails all seemed great, and were about $14 each. We tried the salad sampler which I would highly recommend. The baked butter hummus was good, but I would not get it again as it’s not as creamy as regular hummus. Pita bread was on point. For my entree tried the grilled portobello mushrooms with Cyprus fries. Mushrooms were yummy, the fries were interesting - I would say they are actually potato wedges. Dessert was my favorite bit - definitely try the Kunafa and chocolate loukoumades! Both were fantastic! I would go back just to eat the dessert. It’s a little pricier than I was expecting. For two people, with gratuity, we paid about $140 for two drinks, one appetizer, two entrees and one dessert.

Food is phenomenol. Very busy on Saturday nights. Food comes out as it's ready, tapas style. Moussaka is delicious. Service was very good, we will definitely be going back!

My wife and I went here last evening with another couple who had been here before. The owner came to our table to greet us. He knew that this was our first visit and that my wife's cousin and her husband had been there before. This is a Greek restaurant, but, as it's name implies, it features food from the Greek side of the island of Cyprus. We had two appetizers for the table. The hummus with a soft pita that had air between its two layers was delicious as was the Keotedes, meatballs on a skewer. My wife's cousin and her husband shared a whole fish that they fileted themselves. They both enjoyed it. My wife and I shared a grilled salmon which tasted very good. The portion size was generous for one person but sparse for two. The price was scaled for one person so that was reasonable. We had excellent service. The server was friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. He came to the table often enough to serve our needs but not so often to be obtrusive. This place has excellent quality food at reasonable prices. Parking is across the street. That's fine in nice weather but inconvenient in the rain. I highly recommend this place when the weather is good. We came back to Cypriana for dinner. I had the salmon again. This time I didn't share it with my wife. She had her own entrée. I noticed on the menu that they say that they serve the best grilled salmon around. It's pretty courageous for a restaurant to print something like that right on the menu. I order salmon often when I eat out so I do have a basis for comparison. In my opinion, this place might actually be correct about having the best salmon. I also had the tomato bisque, also delicious. The prices are reasonable, and the service is excellent. I recommend this place.

Vibrant flavors! Our party of 8 enjoyed 2 types of hummus, halloumi cheese plate, and falafel to start with house made pita. Delicious. Best falafel I have ever had. Greek styled salads good. Entrees ranging from flatbread to filet all quite good. House coffee really good ending. Cocktails and wine good too. Free parking gets bonus points!

It’s really a good place to try out Mediterranean food. They have various dishes in the menu. It’s general expensive but the portion is huge. Overall the the appetizers are better than meat dishes for me. Highly recommend the hummus.

The place was fantastic and the staff was extremely friendly and personal. The staff new how to engage and when to check on your experience. It went from empty to full really quickly. The one issue was that the server forgot to put my entree in. It was still ready very quickly and was amazing. Be prepared to get 20% gratuity added automatically. I routinely tip more than that, but I was shocked that a 2 person table experienced that.

The food is authentic and made fresh. We went as a group and tried quite a bit off the menu, the octopus was cooked perfectly and the pork belly was amazing. Save room for their amazing Galaktoboureko made fresh and served warm.

My friend took us and introduced us to Chef Maria... What a beautiful person, kind, and caring. The food was hands down best Mediterranean I have ever had. The hummus! One should definitely check this place out... Plus free parking. Can't beat that🙂.

The chef's menu for large parties is fantastic. The only negative was that each course came out quickly. We felt rushed and had to request a few times that they slow down with the courses.

Had a wonderful dining experience on the patio. Started with freshly prepared classic hummus accompanied by wood-fired pita. Rich and flavorful! Small plates included a sautéed beet dish, grilled eggplant, falafel, stuffed grape leaves, and lentil pilaf, to name a few. Entree was a slow cooked pork belly that melted in your mouth! Chef Maria outdoes herself each time. Every dish is prepared with love!

The hot pita melts in your mouth! The grape leaves are the best I have ever had. Each plate had a special, fresh flavor that took me back to the Mediterranean. Try the spinach and cheese pies. My husband loved the octopus. An added bonus is outside seating where you can relax and enjoy the evening on the lovely deck.

We came here with friends and enjoyed lots of appetizers as our dinner. Our favorite dish was the Sesame Roasted Feta served with their fresh hot pita bread. Wow! What an amazing combination of flavors! Probably one of if not my favorite dish at any restaurant in Baltimore! The owner made sure to introduce himself and tell us about the menu and answer questions which was nice. Our server could have been a bit more attentive to providing appropriate plates for serving and for clearing dinner dishes when dessert was served but that said, she was very friendly and enthusiastic. Overall, we really enjoyed it and look forward to returning.

I spent 6 weeks in Cyprus over the summer and fell in love with the food. This is the only local Cypriot restaurant I could find and it’s absolutely amazing. The food is perfect, the wine sweet, and the staff so kind and personable. I would 110% recommend this to everybody! Do yourself a favor and try the halloumi! It’s the best cheese you’ll ever eat!

Amazing food and the owners are also amazing!! They have a gorgeous outdoor patio, private rooms for entertaining, and a fireplace. Very conscious of allergies and vegans food options are plentiful!! They even cook things separately because they have an amazing kitchen with duplicate appliances!! A gem in Baltimore!

Our family of six came here for my daughter's birthday. This was our second visit. This is a great place to dine. We had several of the Greek/Cypriot themed cocktails which started us with the unique tastes of the Eastern Mediterranean. We shared several orders of each of the small plates and several grill plates. Each was very tasty and reminded me of the mezze served in Cyprus. The house red wine complements the food well. We had several desserts which were great too. We'll be back soon.

My parents and I were able to enjoy a wonderful meal together at Cypriana. Although my Mom always mentions coming to visit me for the seafood we all fell in love with Cypriana. There was nothing to complain about --- the food, ambience and service were all top notch! We will definitely make a return visit soon!
