I have stopped by this establishment on various occasions over the 28 years I lived in Malta. Yes it definitely had a yoyo ride of ups and downs. However it was recently purchased and the new owners Chis and Kristie have put out an extra effort to make Almost Saratoga a place on the map. They have brought in two great young chefs with plenty of knowledge and ambition. The ever improving menu is outstanding. Yes bar food but brought to a great height and keeping the prices more than fair. The specials I believe change daily and the ones I enjoyed were tremendous. They have also really did a nice job cleaning and sprucing the place up. The staff is very friendly and makes sure you want to stop back. All in all I think this place might be the most reasonable on Rt.9. They are also dabbling with entertainment on the weekend with great local talent. Atmosphere is rustic but fun.

Trying to make a bar and grill a success is alot of hard work. Atmosphere is key! Many different things to do at the bar, play horseshoes, volleyball, pool, darts and food!
