Sawan Thai Kitchen

Really delicious. I’ve had the drunken noodle and Pad Thai which are my usually go-tos. I haven’t had good Thai food in a while coming from the southwest and I’m happy to have found a great Thai place. I do wish the drunken noodles were a little but more spicy but I’ll remember to request it next time. I do also wish the entrees were not so expensive but the flavor is perfect. I’m used to noodle dishes being closer to $11-12 range especially for just tofu. They are pretty big portion wise, however, so I can usually save half for leftovers. I see myself ordering here regularly!

Positive: Affordable and big portions. Need to improve: Pad see lew and pad thai needs more flavour. Maybe adding more sauce. It definitely has the signature fresh veggies and tender noodles, but it needs more seasoning. One order of pad see lew was more than enough for my own dinner and i will be finishing it for lunch tomorrow! Yes i would recommend it for the portions and great service. I will be returning once i know that they have fixed the sauce:)

This place is so good! Chicken pad thai is my usual go-to. I'm a wimp, so i usually pick spice level ⭐⭐(two star) and it's sooooo nice. Crispy parcels are also delicious. Currently eating the chicken satay, it's a pretty decent amount of chicken with a tasty peanut sauce on the side. Pad thai gives me enough for a huge serving, then two or three meals of leftovers too!

Sawan is located in Lynwood. A small town on southern Bainbridge island. Out of the few restaurants within Lynwood, Sawan is definitely one of the stronger restaurants to go to when visiting Lynwood. It has great service and a fantastic atmosphere. I’ve eaten here many times and highly recommend eating here. Basically everything on the menu is great. I recommend the drunken noodles with sticky rice, but they have many great dishes. Overall it is a great family run restaurant. If you are in Lynwood definitely come here.

Excellent food, great service and a pleasant atmosphere. What more can you ask for in a restaurant? I only have one problem with the menu. The Orange Beef is so good I can't stop ordering it. I've had other dishes at Sawan Thai, and all were very good, but the Orange Beef is the best. It never fails to amaze me how many Islanders don't know this place is tucked in behind Walt's Market in Lynwood. Now that I think about it, maybe that's a good thing.
