This is really a great place to stop by whenever you get the chance. The food (especially sandwiches) is great, and the staff are all very friendly. Doesn't matter how often you go, there is always something different to try, and everything is delicious! With friendly staff and a great atmosphere, it's a true 5 star experience, when 5 star experiences are not very easy to find. HIGHLY recommend!!

I absolutely love this café... Great downtown atmosphere and just a block away from the state Capital. The food as you can see is super delicious and fresh!Got the lox bagel, it was pretty quick which I was happy about. The staff seemed friendly enough

This is probably the best coffee place on Congress, and it's certainly the best place to grab a quick bite. They do salads, sweet and savory croissants, gelato, and more. Lunch specials as well!

Lavazza is a terrific little coffee and sandwich shop in the heart of downtown. The decor is clean and mid-century modern, with air conditioned indoor and outdoor sidewalk dining options. The paninis are a personal favorite. The Sunday brunch includes bottomless mimosas and several varieties of quiche, which has to be among the best weekend deals in town. The staff is friendly and service is excellent. Its about a 20-minute walk form my office and a favorite excuse for a mid day break.

A cut above busy Starbucks just up the street. A bit more laid back and straight forward coffee shop. Better pastries too. Not for everyone however. More of an acquired taste. Outdoor tables for nice weather, but mostly for take out or eating in. Counter service only.

This place is great! The in house cold brew coffee is absolutely delocious!! WAY better than Starbucks cold brew. They offer good ice cream, and vegan options as well (sorbet) and lots of other options for food and drinks. The workers were friendly, helpful, and very patient as I tried to use my Samsung pay at the counter, where as some other places I've been I just get dirty looks.

On my way to Starbucks and decided to try out a new place. Glad I did! I recommend the ham and cheese croissant.

This place is awesome! The coffee is great and you have an amazing staff that loves what they do! My husband and I took engagement photos down congress from the capital and stopped at this gem. We went to Italy for our honeymoon and found out that's where "Lavazza" originated, how crazy! We came back and had to make this place a staple.

I've been to this cafe twice now. They have a small selection of gelatos. The mixed berry one is so popular that they always seem to be running out of it. The place has cozy yet modern feel, and smells like coffee (because duh!). It's located a stone's throw away from the Capitol's grounds, so if you decide to get one of their cutesy desserts, you can always walk it off!

The people were nice, the place looked very well decorated. The coffee was incredible! I literally tracked them down after trying a location of theirs up North. They are both the same- fabulous! Try it, you'll be like "Star-what?" after you take your first sip.
