The food is ok the delivery menu is the most useful for the price. The garlic bread is super awesome and really flavorful so are the onion rings and curly fries rest of the food is a tad bit above average. On a budget this place is awesome

$2.75 for a big slice of pepperoni pizza you can't beat that!!! And it's way better than any chain pizza! At least pop in for a slice and then check out the rest of the menu.

Awesome sandwiches. Had the Phat SMF and it was so worth the calories! Great variety and terrific staff - a must go in Austin!

Great pizza and other hangover foods. The phat sandwiches are interesting and delicious, stuffed with all kinds of deep fried foods. And the place is open until 4 a.m. with delivery options. What's not to like?

Authentic. Poor Matt-Whatever who's review is below- he has surely never developed the taste for authentic NY/NJ pizza (or did he even have it since he didn't mention it?). Anyway, this place is exactly what it claims to be. The fat sandwiches are what may spark your interest, but it's actually the pizza that would win your loyalty. The legacy of these sandwiches is that they were born out of the desire to lure hungry and poor college students, and they have a long history of successfully doing so (which is why they opened adjacent to UT). For someone post-college age, the sandwiches are more interesting conversation than a fancy culinary experience. If you go in thinking a sub with cheesesteak, fries, mozzarella sticks, etc. is going to be akin to the Four Seasons, that's your fault. It is what it is. However, the pizza is exactly what pizza "should" be in my opinion (which may not be yours, especially if you've grown up thinking Gatti's is actually pizza). If you are a fan of true NY/NJ thin crust, cheesy, slightly oily fresh pizza, you will find a happy, happy home in Big Bite.

Good in a once-a-year-I'm-gonna-eat-something-ridiculous kind of way. A Man Vs. Food kind of place.

It's the perfect college town eatery. If you want a delicious but calorie consuming meal, this is the place to go. I personally recommend any of the Phat sandwiches, especially the Phat Buffalo. These Phat sandwiches have at least 5 ingredients and they are always topped with a huge handful of french fries! It may sound like a heart attack waiting to happen, but it is one of the best tasting sandwiches I've had in my college career so far.

I live all the way in Bastrop. It's about a 35 minute drive, but I don't mind because I know I'm getting my money's worth on food. The staff and service is Excellent. The best " Phat-sand which " I've ever Eaten and will ever eat only here at Big bites

Don't let the drunken students at 2 in the morning stop you from coming here, the pizza is amazing and the phat sandwiches always hit the spot. Usually doesn't have a long wait and the food comes out fairly quickly. If you're in the west campus area of UT you definitely have to come here at least once.

Although it's usually frequented by college drunks between 1-3am, it's been a dinner favorite since I started college 3 years ago! Phat sandwiches consisting of numerous chunks of fried meats, cheeses, and practically whole meals combined into one hoagie make a local classic, great for curing a drunken confusion or just a plain old dinner for regular boring people.

Their Phat sandwiches don't disappoint. Only thing is they usually average about an hour on the delivery time so plan ahead on that. I really recommend the Phat UT. It's good.

It's been on Food Network a few times and has some crazy combinations, it works though. Very fattening but totally worth it. The price is great as well too, parking is well downtown UT parking so good luck with that, but if you are strolling by it's worth trying.

I purchased the Phat Sicilian which was amazing! They pack this thing with more flavor than you know how to handle.. It's a sandwhich with chicken strips, cheese steak, french fries, cheeze sticks, pesto sauce, and I added jalepeno Poppers. AND they deliver up to 4AM.. You gotta check it out.

Come for the Phat sandwiches, stay for the pizza and salads. They're not half-bad if you're not a pundit and/or a pizza and salad connoisseur. If that is the case, I retract my comments for fear of displeasing your taste buds. But stick to the Phat sandwiches, they'll do what they're meant to do (read: phat with an f). They're open until late, so make a note of its existence in case you go out drinking and somehow end up in West Campus.

They have a great lunch special for $6.99- wrap, salad, and drink included. The San Jacinto wrap was very good! I'll definitely be coming back.
