Look, I was in the area in business, ate tacos across the street when I happened to see their sign as I was walking back to the car - "buttermilk pies and pulled pork tacos." Had to investigate this buttermilk pie. Now the rest is history!! They were so good I walked up to the counter and ordered 5 more pies to take back in the airplane ride home! Run to this place... Pies melt in your mouth!

This is one of my very favorite places in Austin! The menu is short but everything is so good and the carrot cake is incredible.

Need good stuff and a quiet place in a buzzing city. Here. Happy hour, only a few simple decisions to make. Friendly service, quaint cute setting. Coffee wine or beer Pulled pork crunchy tacos, or soft sandwich Yummy pie or pie for dessert. OH MY GOSH THA bourbon buttermilk pie YES. Awesome.

Hands down, one of my favorite little spots in Austin. I've never even deviated from the pulled pork tacos because they're so amazing. It's a great light lunch spot. Two tacos each for two people and two pies to share, and you leave satisfied for under $15. You can't beat it, and the staff are always friendly as well. Indecisive? There's almost always pie samples available. Check this spot out. You won't be sorry.

Elaine's is getting every bit of these five stars. Where do we start... I personally have only ever tried the shredded pork tacos with chips and queso along with their tiny pies. I like the simplicity place. You can get a beer, coffee, or sofa. Their staff are super nice to me ever visit. Very clean and little tables to sit inside and out. It's a really small cafe like place. Great for dates etc...

The pulled pork is very porky, and also tender and juicy, which is what makes the two main dishes so good! The bourbon pie was good but I guess it's just not our thing, didn't really see what all the commotion was about. Take a walk in the garden, nice and relaxing, hang out with the chickens.

Walking into this place simply makes you happy; it is so adorable!!! Such a wonderful place to go for weekend brunch esp. with their lemosa (frozen lemonade, champagne, raspberry syrup), which is a refreshing addition to a sun-lite cafe. I had the pulled pork sandwich, which is awesome, mainly thanks to the sweet bbq sauce, and with such a meaty sandwich, the addition of tangy, fresh cucumbers balances it. The bakes goods are not as awesome, but hey they give free samples so I can't get on them too much about it. Def. recommend this place even though I want to keep it my little secret but still want it to succeed, ahhhhh mixed feelings!!!

The pulled pork tacos, buttermilk pie, and frose were all amazing! The next time I am in Austin I will definitely go here again! It is the smaller building to the side of Eastside Cafe. A great local spot and the service was great too!

this place is close to my work and offers a small, but tasty menu. the real draw are the desserts. and they offer samples of each! win-win! it's got a homey feel with friendly servers. i like to get 1 taco and a small side salad, then usually get a buttermilk dessert, after sampling all their offerings (they don't give me the side-eye either). parking can be a pain if you get there right at noon b/c it shares the lot with east side cafe. they are now open for breakfast (coffee drinks and morning pastries). will have to try it out soon!

This place is freaking amazing. They only do a few things and THEY DO THEM SO WELL. Frozen lemonade (with a raspberry swirl) is so great and only $1.89 (I think that's after tax too.) Pulled pork sandwiches were so tasty as well, but the real start of the show is the pie. GET THE PIE. GET SEVERAL PIES. ASK FOR FRESH STRAWBERRIES. DIE WHILE EATING THEM BECAUSE YOU ARE OVERCOME WITH HAPPINESS AND JOY. The women who work there are really, really nice too.

Love the casual atmosphere and friendly staff. The pork tacos are so good! I can't complain about the iced tea or pie either! One of my favorite lunch spots!

We've been coming here for years and absolutely love it every time! The food is always fresh and delicious. Definitely grab a pie while you're there or on your way out. It's a great little spot for lunch!
