Stopped in with a friend for lunch. I've had Torchy's dozens of times but this was my first time at this location. Food was great, like it always is. The service was dynamite; really friendly folks. We ended up sitting at the bar (it was Friday, don't judge) and were very well taken care of by the bartender. Great atmosphere; it was busy but still plenty of parking and places to sit.
Nice place. The staff is courteous and welcoming. They missed one of our items. When notified, they got it immediately without any wastage of time.
Bar staff was helpful in charging our phone. Food is delicious and fresh.
I want to point out two workers who made my experience extra special around 2 months ago it's, Daxton and Payton. They are always so happy and ready to help. I love their neverending desire to help everyone. However, small the task! They really care about their job and customers can really tell!!!
I could not be happier that we finally got a Torchy’s in our neighborhood. High Quality, freshly prepared food and fast service. I really like the separate and spacious bar area and huge dining area too. Love the Mr Pink and Mr Orange. My all time favorite is definitely their Airstream Salad with blackened Salmon. I also have to say that their staff does such an amazing job. Yes the food is freshly prepared and it is NOT fast food - which is exactly the reason I LOVE to eat here.
We come often and it’s usually fantastic, but the few times it’s been anything less-than stellar, they always make it right. Really impressed by the way they treat their customers and ensure a high-quality experience.
Food was great. I ordered their taco of the month, "The Kingpin" and their "Democrat." Both were absolutely delicious. Never a miss with their tacos. I ordered their Top Shelf Patron Margarita as well but that was a miss. Location is quite large compared to other Torchy's seating areas. Unfortunately the staff is very unfriendly and not properly trained. The employee who brought the food down to my table simply dropped it off and took off without asking if I needed anything else.
One of the best locations I've been too, an I've been to a few, they were very helpful, so I have food allergies and asked for gloves to be changed because of cross contamination an they didn't have any problems considering I've had issues at other locations, lol I asked for alot and they were very friendly and so nice, I want to give a shout out to the kid who went above and beyond placing my order and the man who brought me my extra limes and even went back to speak to the manager to see if they had any sauces that didn't have onions in it, but they didn't an its ok cuz I always just put cheese dip on my tacos anyways, but like I said best location yett, I will definitely be back, so friendly, food was great!!!
Came in for a couple cheeky midday drinks and some food in-between client appointments. Daxton was very attentive and friendly. Great bartender, great service, great food as always.
Definitely in Austin classic. My favorite is the fried avocado taco but the Baja shrimp is a close second. My son likes the Democrat.
Parking and seating are very easy especially in the current times. This location also has a bar so once in awhile I will meet a friend here for a quick beer.
You won't be disappointed.... So tasty you will definitely come back for more 😊
Excellent tacos and wonderful atmosphere. I've been to several Torchy's around Austin and this one in DS is really neat - love the red road reflectors used on the walls - inside and out! Everyone should try the "Trailer Park" taco at least once - order it messy with corn tortillas. Great addition to our community and the people working here are awesome.
