Food was very flavorful and fresh. Ordered 2 dishes - SANGAM SPL MUTTON CHOPS MASALA, KARAIKUDI NATTU KOZHI MASALA(COUNTRY CHICKEN SEMI GRAVY). Mango lassi was also good in taste.

Well leaving all it aside !!! We have been there at 2:30 (about to close at 3 pm ) with group of our people with 15 count. But, there was a beautiful lady over there name "Anu" who served with utmost ease. No matter how long we ordered and ate that delicious food, she was very patient and served us with pretty smile.

**Sangam Restaurant in Austin: A Flavorful Delight** I recently dined at Sangam Restaurant and was impressed by several aspects of my experience. Firstly, their precision in delivering dishes "on point" and "on time" was commendable, ensuring a seamless dining experience. The spice levels in their dishes were perfectly balanced, adding depth and flavor without overwhelming the palate. However, while the promise of serving meals on banana leaves intrigued me, I was slightly disappointed as only one banana leaf was provided underneath the dish, contrary to the expectations set. Despite this minor setback, Sangam Restaurant's culinary offerings are undoubtedly a treat for the taste buds. The impeccable timing and flavor precision make it a spot worth visiting for those seeking authentic and delicious Indian cuisine in Austin.

AMAZING. simply put, best Indian I've had in Austin. The Chetinad Masala was incredible thanks to our waiter Baddam!!! I asked for a very spicy dish and got it with the most tender pieces of lamb - Baddam hooked it up! My friend is gluten free and they have a menu if you are too - the dosa was so much fun and came with the best sauces. Whatever the red one was Baddam gave me some to go. Just SWOON! Thanks Baddam and the whole crew I can't wait to try to curry crab next and sweat my face off!

Overall: Considered as the best Indian restaurant in Austin for a few years now! 1. Food - Authentic South Indian 2. Service - Always been good, even during crowded days 3. Cost - Pretty decent for the quantity and taste 4. Ambience - Average, just a basic Indian restaurant. Nothing fancy! 5. Menu suggestion - Try the damn good Veg or Non-Veg thalli’s on weekends. Plenty of options for vegetarians as well.

Food was good. We liked the dosa. And naan was okay. But mutton curry sauce was not tasty.

Based on the recommendation received, we visited Sangam Chettinad Indian Cuisine for lunch. The restaurant was busy but we got seated right the way; our waiter was courteous and did a good job explaining the items and answering questions. We decided to try Chicken Chettinad curry, Butter Masala chicken, Boneless chicken Biryani and an order of Mysore Masala Dosa to share. While the chicken Chettinad and chicken biryani were good, I want to highlight Butter Masala chicken and Mysole Masala Dosa; I have previously tried Butter Masala in many different places, the one from Sangam Chettinad is probably the one that impressed me the most. Yes, I am not an Indian Cuisine expert, but purely from a taste point of view, I really enjoyed the dish very much. Mysole Masala Dosa was also pretty darn good: from potato filling inside to 4 types of sauces that came with it, we truly enjoyed it. Very good experience overall.

Great food, good location. We ordered the chicken, biryani, and the potato dosa. The table presentation was very neat. One of the only things I didn’t enjoy as much, was our server. They didn’t seem very knowledgeable about the menu, and they made really long awkward pauses when I asked about certain plates on the menu. It was my first time eating here, and I was very unfamiliar with the menu, it’s very long and extensive. I had a bunch of questions about what was good, what was the most traditional plate, what was spicy, and the server really didn’t know anything. They had this cute little robot/server that came from the kitchen to the counter, delivering food, super nice that they have this here. The art on the walls in the music were very nice and relaxing, the space is big so it’s great for big parties. Definitely coming back, I really enjoyed the food here.

Came Wednesday night for dinner at 7:00pm and the restaurant was packed! We almost had to wait for a seat, and this place is huge. There were families, people eating alone, and couples on dates. Once you step out the car, you can smell the spices in the parking lot. We sat down and got our plates, cups, utensils and water. We ordered samosas to share, chicken tikka masala, chicken butter masala, and lamb briyani. The samosas (3) came out and we’re big, and filled with delicious potato with two dipping sauces. They were so good, we ordered another one to take home. The butter chicken and tikka masala was really flavorful… but the best thing was the NAAN. It was fluffy, garlicky, butter…. The NAAN completed the curry dishes, the rice was also very fluffy and cooked well. The lamb biryani had a lot of meat, I personally like it way spicier though, but the yogurt sauce was good. This restaurant gets packed and I can see why, the food is delicious and it’s not too expensive. Definitely check this place out!

Good spot for Indian food. This place can get really crowded over weekends so expect long wait times but they have a good notification process where you give your number and get notified when the table is available. The food is good - we specifically had the lunch Thali, which was really good. You get good quantity and it is tasty. Service is quick as well. Visited this on a weekend and it was really busy and crowded! The restrooms need better maintenance!
