If you are looking for authentic style Mexican food with natural flavors. You will be pleased. The flan is not your typical round dish style. It was more like a slice of flan pie with all sorts of extras. It was delicious. No pizza or alcohol this time. I wasn't able to inquire as to why. Their pizza was delicious last time I had it. Sports bar next door If they aren't serving.

3 miles from Austin airport. Clean place & friendly staff. Highly recommend! This is a hole-in-the- wall gem. Don’t let the outside turn you off, it’s worth the try. We had beef burritos, chicken & cheese enchiladas, and the beef fajitas. Even the rice & beans was eaten with pleasure (we are often disappointed in Tex-Mex rice here in Tx). I’m a picky foodie and this gets my stamp of approval. We will be back soon.

This little hole in the wall is worth stopping in. The food was very delicious and flavorful. Very filling. Affordable prices. Very clean and organized. The seats for the booths are really really comfortable. Definitely bringing the family back

We stopped in for lunch on Sunday when we arrived in town for a quick trip. We ordered the chili con queso to start, which had so much fresh flavor from the peppers, tomatoes, onions, avocado, etc serves with the queso. The house salsa has a fantastic smoky heat to it. My husband had the beef fajitas ranchero and commented it was the most flavorful dish he's had - I got to taste one of his jalapeños and noticed it was a fresh slice that had been simmered/stewed in the ranchero sauce. I ordered the burrito with beef fajita meat and it came with a small salad of baby leaf lettuce, fresh diced tomatoes, and avocado slices. The entire dish was fresh and flavorful. I additionally ordered one of their house tacos with chicken fajita meat, and it was honestly so good from start to finish - the tortilla was fried crispy in house, and held together as we ate it. We got a sample of the agua fresca, which was dessert in a glass - and we walked out with 2 pieces of flan to have later. We finally ate them around 7hrs later, and it was still a perfect custard we enjoyed. For anyone concerned with COVID-19 protocols, they have tables spaced for social distancing and tables are covered with plastic to aid in disinfecting. El Agazajo's is a hidden gem in Austin, and I hate to tell people about it for that reason - but you NEED to give them a try! Be prepared for a much more authentic experience than you expect.

Simple place. Family feel. The service was great. The food was delicious. The Chicken Piccata was good but a little too heavy on the salt. Would have liked to have tasted more lemon, less salt. However it was still satisfing. The cheese sticks we're delicious. I dropped one in the sauce and it splattered(it was not served messy like it is on the pic)

This is definitely a hidden gem off of 183 .Service was spot on..We started with the starters....Queso (Loaded), Salsa-Red and Green-along with some pickled veggies and crunchy chips....Now that Red Salsa was and still is a talking point for us...smoky, fresh tasting and a great little kick...Its up there as some of the best we have had...a scoop of that was a perfect match for the Queso....The food did take a bit to come out, BUT its made to order and landed on the table piping Hot...We will never complain about that, and we are never in a hurry when we go out to eat, we are there to take in the whole experience. Wife went with the Beef Enchiladas with Chipotle and double rice. Chipotle was a bit on the sweeter side but still good. Beef was good on its own...I went with Chicken Enchiladas with Suiza Sauce....Great Flavor, creamy and the chicken was seasoned very well...Both sets of Enchiladas were packed to the brim....We both enjoyed the rice, very light and fluffy...Again another great find was the refried Black Beans...Simply amazing flavor, even better with the rice mixed it...Start to finish this was a great visit, and best thing another spot that is close to the house, as we frequent this area often.

Food was delicious, service was quick, establishment was clean. I would/will definitely be back. I recommend the Caldo de Pollo, make sure you get the spicy salsa that goes with it. It's not too spicy but the really enhances the flavor.
