A Diamond in the Rough!!! My friend and I decided to try this place. Chinese Restaurants are always a hit and miss. It’s either really good or really tasteless. We were not disappointed with this one. First of all, very affordable. If you’re on a budget, always get an appetizer and a side of rice, which is what I did. The beef on the stick, though thickly cut, was very tasty, and was enough to fill my hunger and craving. My friend got the General Tso. It was perfection. I got a taste of it: it was VERY crispy. We were thinking it was double fried, to get that consistency, but it didn’t overwhelm the flavor of the chicken itself. The service is fast. The people who work there are very nice and accommodating, so don’t misunderstand their occasional lack of facial expressions. Whether you call it “A Hole In The Wall,” or “Diamond in the Rough,” it’s a MUST try. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

We, too, have never been disappointed with China House! They deliver on time, and the food is hot and flavorful. Their menu is pretty extensive, in my opinion, and their prices are where they should be, in my opinion. Yum, yum, yummy! I suggest the lettuce wrapped chicken, Kung Pao chicken, broccoli beef, egg drop soup, those yummy biscuits.

My family and I Love this place!!! Nina is very sweet!!! The other employees treat us like royalty every time we visit! And we visit T least 3 times a month. Our drinks are always full we never have to ask for refills. We are so comfortable when we go eat there Live the people there!! Try their soups they’re delicious!!!

Lies and Deceptions 😎 if you think chic, Chinese food, restaurants are where you should order for fast deliveries. I ( & my 11 roommates) have ordered food from this place five times and they have never disappointed. The driver has a little attitude, but the taste of the food makes up for transgressions.

Found myself in North Austin hungry for inexpensive Chinese food. I remembered this restaurant that I would meet a friend at about 15 yrs ago. Couldn't decide on the protein I wanted so I opted for the Happy Family on the lunch menu. Super tender slices of beef, chicken and large shrimp in a savory sauce with mushrooms, carrots, bell peppers, water chestnuts, and onion. Offered with an egg roll, soup and choice of rice at lunch. I always opt for hot and sour soup (my gauge for judging Chinese restaurants). The soup was perfectly seasoned with a spicy kick and tartness. Excellent! Took my meal to go and everything was still hot and tasty 15 minutes later. I will definitely be heading back to this place I had forgotten over the years whenever I can.
