I just want to thank the sweet lady Katherine that even tho she was off the clock she still managed to made our experience there to be amazing. She is the best waiter for sure. Everything that we try me and my boyfriend was delicious 😋 the food was fresh and hot. If y’all ever feel like eating fish for sure this is the place to go. I can’t wait to come back and have more of this food 🥰!!!

There's a reason this place has been around like 50 years. Fresh crispy hush puppy sticks first to the table, like the way that some restaurants provide breadsticks. And then perfectly fried new Orleans style catfish and breading dusted fries. Try it in that unnaturally green tarter sauce. Cool vintage decorations really make the space unique. Don't mind the sagging ceiling panels. Get you real well fed for a great price. They'll even cater to your gluten allergy. Come here if your body is good and processing oil calories. I'm coming back the next time I'm in Austin for sure.

I love this place during lunch! You get all you can eat veggies (buttered corn, black eyed peas, coleslaw, hushpuppies, etc) and then order any friend or grilled seafood by telling the cooks. I appreciate the self service. It's a delicious spot to visit for lunch because it's quick and easy. I personally prefer the regular fried catfish over the spicy catfish. The hushpuppies are my favorite thing in the world!!!!!!
