I've been eating at Bella Donna Subs for at least 20 years, maybe longer.
You'll be a bit surprised at the place, I was the first time. It's a little dumpy but is clean. Their menu on the wall is very home made looking but a lot of their food is too.
They make a very decent Muffaletta Sandwich but my favorite it Italian Sausage with peppers, onions, cheese and sauce on a sub roll. I have it all the time and it's really good.
I'm quite happy that they've survived the pandemic and still are usually very busy at lunch time. Most people who work in the area have eaten here before and come back regularly. Definitely worth trying if you've never been to it.

Bella Donna Subs is a hidden gem in a large industrial area with amazing food and super fast service. Having tried several items from their menu like the #14 Yenta Pastrami, or their Mediterranean Cheese Steak Sub, Meatball Sub, and Chicago Style Italian Beef, the food is hot, delicious, and very different from your standard fare. They offer a few Jewish foodstuffs of interest as well, you can't go wrong with eating at Bella Donna. The pricing is perfect for what you get, and they offer fountain drinks of standard soda choices, as well as brewed sweet / unsweet tea. Enjoy your cookie!

Fantastic Italian restaurant. Authentic subs and sandwiches done the way Nana made them. Place is dated but smells so good. Awesome meatball subs.

Bring your appetite! Breakfast, lunch, or early dinner (they close at 4pm), they got you covered. If you like me, a full sub can last 2 days. Been there I don't know how long and still going strong.

Bella Donna Subs is a hidden gem for sandwiches and burgers! It's easy to miss this spot, but if you want a quality sandwich, or a great house made burger, keep your eyes open (sorry, no fries though)!
The inside is pretty much what you would expect when you see the store front, but the people at the counter are very friendly and willing to answer your questions. This place is not hurting for customers, so depending on your timing you may have a wait for your food, but the team works hard to get orders out as quick as they can.
Get the combo, it comes with a drink, chips, AND a COOKIE (house made)!

One of the better sandwich shops in Austin. If you're in a rush call in your order. It's a smaller kitchen but all is fresh and top ingredients. It's always ready when I pick up.

Just needed a quick bite to eat before jumping on our flight back to NY. Everything was fresh and delicious! Just what we needed. I was able to customize a sub how I wanted, as needed. Also chatted with a local who goes there for lunch pretty often. She said pretty much everything she's tried on their menu was good, and she herself was gonna try something new that day! She highly recommended trying their homemade sauce, and after trying it, I also recommend it!
