Flores Mexican Restaurant

This is our go to place. The food is always delicious. The staff iss welcoming and friendly. The atmosphere is casual and easy going. If you wanna drink it up and laugh with friends it's perfect. If you wanna relax in a friendly atmosphere and just chill it's perfect for that too. Kids have their own area outside with plenty of seating for you to feel comfortable not having to watch their every move while they play. I love it here.

November 2023: We have been back here several times since my last review where Flores is on our restaurant lunch rotation. This visit I ordered the lunch special #4 Two Chicken Enchiladas and a house Margarita on the Rocks. The place was already decorated for the holidays and like usual sit at the bar. The staff was friendly and service was quick. The enchiladas were great and had a nice chicken flavor with the green sauce on top. November 2022: Olé! Among other Mexican restaurants in the area where I live this one always serve me well with great food and drinks. I mostly have lunch here and tend to try different items from the menu. I had chicken tacos. The tacos were plentiful and tasted great, and had nice flavor. It was plenty to eat where came with rice and beans. This place is large where has a variety of places to sit like in the regular dining area, bar or outside facing the playground. And yes they do have a big playground for kids. I have seen many moms other together sipping on margaritas while their kids play. It all tasted freshly made where walking to the bar can see a lady making fresh tortillas.

Everything was exceptional at this restaurant. We were with a large group and our server made sure everyone was served promptly. We could not believe how quickly we received our meals. I had the Stuffed Avocado and it was very good. The chicken used in this dish had a great taste. My wife had soft tacos and they were huge and tasty. She could only eat one! We would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Good restaurant for a tex Mex style food has an outdoor playground for kids to play, but it gets too hot when weather is hot. Drinks were very good. I personally ordered a fajita with shrimp steak and chicken. I enjoy it very much. I ordered a side of refried beans for my chips and thought they just needed a little flavoring. Other than that, everything else, as well as the servers, were very nice. We got our order in and our food back fairly quickly.

Best place to go as a family. The service is great and the atmosphere is even better. The outdoor area has a playground and lots of space for the little ones to run around. It's also entirely shaded by trees, and there are huge fans and misters that make being outside in the Texas heat comfortable. Each kids plate also comes with ice cream. And the food is delicious.

Happy hour on Cinco De Mayo was super fun but the crowd took away from it! Great atmosphere with the mariachi band but understandably super crowded!! $8 house margaritas were basic but we didn’t expect much in the first place!! The restaurant was short staffed and it seemed like pulling teeth to get the attention of a bartender for a drink.
