A really swanky chill spot for wine (they have beer too). They were super knowledgeable about their wines. Love the decor

Fantastic new place on East 7th! Rotating tap beers and wines at a reasonable price. We ate the “everything board” (charcuterie). A nice retreat from some of the noisier bars around the corner. Will definitely be back!

Myself and 3 friends had the Prix Fixe last night and I can honestly say it is one of the best meals I have had. I am a huge foodie and am always looking for chef curated meals and this is very close to top and that includes Michelin restaurants. As I type this I am day dreaming about the goat course and basil ice cream. The service was impeccable and every wine and food course was explained thoroughly. You can tell the staff really loves working with the Chef and truly believes in his genius. I can’t wait to return in the near future and look forward to bringingmany family and friends to this wonderful little spot.

Small, non-assuming space with a cozy atmosphere inside. They have a rolling ladder for the wine shelves on one of the walls and cute candles on the tables. The food was tasty and artistic. We did the chef’s 10-12 course tasting menu and it did not disappoint. The first course was my favorite in terms of looks. The butterfly squash crisps, carrot jerk and turnip cake with caviar sat perfectly on a beautifully decorated log. Every dish was very delicious but a few stood out and were my favorites - the Duck soup dumplings, the goat and biscuits, and the wagyu short rib. The palette cleanser before dessert reminded me of a golden egg but tasted like a fruit gusher. There were a couple of dishes that were a bit saltier than I would have liked - the goat and mushroom soup. Tip: if you get the sweet potato cereal and love super sweet, you can pour the whole thing. But if you are like me and only like a little sweetness, control your pour.

Oh so yes! You have to try this spot! 10 course tasting menu was so incredibly amazing, I already can't wait to return. The dishes were organized in pairs so that two would go together but still be served separately. The chef puts his Asian flare into the dishes, though the diversity of flavors and ingredients are from all over the world. Wine for days - so many regions and so many grapes it takes a while to pick but Joe is right there to help you decide which is for you. I love the variety of meats, we had goat, crawfish, fish, beef, etc. Everything was melt in your mouth good. The portions are small enough to where after 10 you don't need to be rolled out. We booked via Tock, and in some cases you can book with Points (Chase Sapphire Reserve) which was a super big bonus for me. We will be back!!

Had the tasting menu with pairings, had to leave early, but was impressed with what I got to enjoy. Very knowledgeable about wine here, lots of experimentation and risk taking by the chef. I’ll need to get back soon to fully enjoy the experience and see how this establishment evolves.

We had dinner at APT115. They offer a daily wine menu as well as a full list of wines. Loved the food there: Beet is beautiful presented and ingredients work together well. The pork belly stew came in a cute casserole dish, well seasoned and the honey butter is delicious. Wagyu short rib melt in the mouth and the sauce and mushrooms go very well with the short rib. Staff are warm and friendly. I’d go back for their tasting menu and wine pairing next.

If I could give them 6 stars, I would’ve, they were amazing! We did chef tasting, the food and the presentation were so unique! We couldn’t even choose a favorite! They owner and staff are so friendly, with such perfect service!! Definitely one of the best restaurants in Austin with an amazing value to quality, I left the owner a note that he should raise his prices 😃

APT 711 is by all accounts a fabulous experience. Welcoming and friendly staff. An eclectic (in the very best way Austin has to offer) interior. But the food and wine pairing are where I found myself absolutely spell bound. I had the tasting here and I am awestruck and the cohesiveness, diversity and charm of the menu. It’s incredible. well worth going the day without eating just to savor every bite! I’m so glad I’ve found this absolute gem. There’s so many exciting and wonderful things awaiting your palette here.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would! Absolutely amazing mouth watering food ❤️ we tried the chefs tasting menu and they accommodated my dietary restriction of being vegetarian (so no meat or fish) Every dish was better than the next one - definitely a gem of Austin! Will definitely visit again

Phenomenal experience! From the top notch food selections to the carefully selected wine pairing ( so glad I opted for it), hubby and I were blown away! Antelope tartare, goat leg, sweet potato cereal for dessert and truly unique take on tofu in fragrant cold broth( took me back to my childhood days spent at my Fujianese friend’s house when her mom would pour jasmine tea on steamed rice for us.) My palate was truly on cloud 9. Chef coming by to thank us was icing on the cake! So glad we decided to celebrate my birthday here!
