This is donut heaven! Also love their croissant breakfast sandwiches. Friendly people. What they lack in space they more than make up for in tasty treats.
Does anyone know why they do not post their store hours anywhere?
We LOVE this place but find ourselves going across the street to Shipley. Their inventory is increasingly lacking. My kids like glazed and donut holes before school sometimes. We can never get them from KC Donuts anymore because "they're not ready". I'm sad about it but because we prefer small business local and their product is awesome.
Absolutely love their donut holes....always warm and fresh. Their inventory has definitely increased since 2011. Highly recommend!
Glazed donut hole heaven . The cake holes are great also. Be prepared to stand in line on weekend mornings due to great demand. It's a tiny place that delivers huge taste.
Donut Hole Divinity. This mom and pop store has the best melt in your mouth donuts and holes, and really just presents what a donut should be: fresh; airy; perfect glazing and crispness. Both yeast and cake donuts are lovely. We keep it as a special treat in our home, or we'd become like habituated bears returning to eat our weight in the divine confections. Though I got to tell you the breakfast burritos are yummy and have protein! Great excuse for having a healthy breakfast, and well, one of those 10 or 20 cent donut holes to go with it.
These are the best donuts in the area. They are much better than Shipley’s in my opinion. They do often seem to get a late start, I have been by there twice at 7am and they were still closed. Their yeast donuts are the best, but they also have cake donuts, kolaches, and breakfast tacos.
Always friendly. Always good. Love their sausage egg and cheese tacos and the oversized donut holes!
Affordable donuts with great customer service. We treat our kids to KC Donuts every so often and the sweet lady behind the counter always makes there day by giving them each a donut hole while we get the rest of our order placed. No-frills, simple donuts that taste great.
My family will only get donuts from KC. The oversized donut holes are mouth-watering! The maple donuts are the best anywhere, and a delicious unique cake is the iced lemon. Everything I’ve ever tried here is so tasty, and when the kids come back from college, it’s on their bucket list to visit.

As far as donut shops go, this is the best one in Austin so far. 99 percent of them use the ben e Keith. Or dawn foods or us foods commercial do nut mixes, this place makes your money go further on the Regular do nuts. They are the old size. Not midget friendly. Goose egg size yeast do nut holes.
The old fashioned, ( more water , lower temperature) plain and maple are good get the coffee with an espresso shot for dunking.
I have been passing by this store in some of my walks around the area and finally decided to stop in. It's so nice inside and these treats are GIGANTIC, snagged a lovely cinnamon roll in a quick in and out process at the time I was in.
However there are sometimes lines, but I do believe it is worth the wait.
The lady at the counter was so sweet and the donuts were amazing! I tried the raspberry Italian soda with heavy cream and it was amazing. 10/10 would recommend!
It's a classic donut shop, the prices are good, the donuts are delicious. I love supporting a local shop instead of a chain, especially when it's a no brainer.
Their croissant breakfast sandwiches are some of the best around, the service is friendly and fast, and man those old fashioned donuts are huge and delicious. HIGHLY recommend this place over anywhere else in Austin.
Saw this place today & decided to give it a try. It was also 3pm & It was dead inside & I had to ring their bell & the most sweetest little lady popped out from the back. I got a lemon & a spinkle donut & they were so soft & so delicious! I'm impressed! I'm so glad I dropped by. The woman was even sweet enough to give me samples. Please be good to them & show them love. They deserve it.
