We were there yesterday and I wrote this for my Yelp review:
This place is the epitome of what my Dad always talked about as how to find the best BBQ: the hole in the wall/shack that you follow your nose to find and the BBQ is knock-your-socks-off good! So tender, juicy, and full of smoky goodness! I got the brisket sandwich and I asked for the spiciest sauce he made. It not only did not disappoint, it was so deliciously good that I had to lick the foil clean! He added this phenomenal salsa verde sauce on top of the brisket with BBQ sauce and the combination was fantastic! Our 5-year-old also really liked the brisket taco we got him, and he usually won't eat anything besides fries and fruit when we go out. Risa got the brisket sandwich with the special sauce. Our picky 11-year-old liked his brisket sandwich so much he went and told the guy running the food truck how much he liked it multiple times. We will definitely be making this a regular stop when we come to Austin!
Next time I'm getting the Playboy Sandwich! Also, be sure to ask what the special of the day is.
Walked 30 minutes to realize it was a food truck not a restaurant but it was the best mistake we made all night. The food was ready faster than any restaurant would have been able to deliver and it was hands down the best pulled pork and smoked mac & cheese we had ever had!

The BBQ was amazing so tender and sweet savory sauce with a hint a of tangy, the plates was delicious enough for 2 persons, we ended up sharing me and my brother we were completely satisfied and happy with our decision, will definitely come back for another round 10/10. Give it a try everything on the menu looks good.
Interesting trucks gathered around to create an integrated dining spot. Food was excellent, although a little too oily/fatty which is still good since i ordered pork belly. Taste was good, and lingering bbq taste in the mouth makes me want to go back again.
We ordered beef brisket, pork belly burnt ends, and pulled pork. I especially like the beef brisket and burnt ends. The meat was flavorful and the fat was nicely rendered. The bourbon sauce was very good too. And the price was VERY reasonable.
My first taste of Austin Barbecue and it did not disappoint! The ribs were perfect, tender and juicy with a delicious rub. Mac and cheese was creamy and smokey. The barbecue sauce was phenomenal, wish I could take a gallon home! The beans were not traditional baked beans which was a little disappointing but still tasty in their own way. Overall absolutely delicious!
Went there on a Sunday to check out their smoked barbacoa tacos. The tacos are served on a crispy tortilla with cheese and green salsa. Some of the best-tasting barbacoa around. The brisket was moist and tender and the mac and cheese was absolutely delicious.

The Mac 'n Cheese & Pork Belly Burnt Ends are not on the menu item and where combined. Super tender and tasty burnt ends and creamy and morish Mac 'n Cheese.
There are a number of great food trucks in this park, but Rolling Smoke might be my favorite. The brisket is impressive, the sausage is nearly perfect, their BBQ sauce (which the BBQ doesn't need) has a unique sweet flavor that is hard to place but works well, and they have some of the best banana pudding you can find. This might be the best kept "Texas BBQ" secret in Austin, because it's better than most, and stands toe to toe with the best.
I was visiting Austin for the first time and in search of the best BBQ in the area. Rollin Smoke BBQ didn’t disappoint. I ordered the pulled pork sandwich and Mac and cheese. My only complaint (which is a compliment) is I wish the Mac and cheese portion size was larger. The pulled pork was well seasoned and moist with a perfect ration of crispy skin, meat and fat. The Mac and cheese had just the right balance of cheesiness and smoke flavor. I’m definitely adding this place to my menu.
Enjoyed the desserts here! Can’t wait to come back for the bbq! And the Sunday tacos!
June 2023: finally got to try the tacos! Amazing….omg so good. We all loved them. Got the barbacoa Quesa-taco, the carnitas Quesa-taco, and the brisket taco. The Quesa tacos were rich and flavor and delicious. The shell had crunch but not overdone and thankfully held up thru the car ride. The brisket was excellent. The carne g taco also looked really good. Smoked Mac and pork belly burnt ends are also great. The guys on the truck were also awesome!
