Flores Mexican Restaurant

We sat outside on a slightly chilly night and the propane heaters they have were a bit too much. The one nearest to us was turned down all the way, but it was still too hot for me. Food and service were adequate. They have an outdoor playground where your kids can play while you wait on the food which is pretty convenient.

Wonderful experience, OPEN Till 10 PM handmade tortillas. The chicken soup was delicious. The fajitas were tasty, shrimp were a great size. For dessert xango, Mexican fried cheesecake. Will be a regular at this establishment. Not to mention the homemade salsa was the right amount of spice. Just like my mother made. 💋

Since we moved to Lakeway, we have been trying out different Mexican restaurants and recently visited Flores. What an absolute gem! The food and the service were terrific, and the restaurant was uncrowded and inviting. My weaknesses has always been for Mole sauce, and Flores version of this classic does not disappoint. It's earthy, smoky, and has just the right amount of heat and "bite" to it. We'll definitely be back!

The steak+chicken fajitas were fantasticly cooked well in style plus balanced in the extra condiments! Plus the rice was so different than other restaurants' dry rice - it was buttery moist here, the waiters and hostess were really accommodating, good arrived fast and the staff checked on us well - I highly recommend visiting here!

Went here for pre father's day. Wasn't busy. Our waiter I think was new or just dumb. He didn't know the drink menu. Also, they need more of a stronger beer to offer. Their chips and salsa was very good. I got the Joe plate but made the tacos fish. It was pretty good. I like going there for breakfast.

I’ll be honest, the 4 out of 5 star rating worried me a bit but whoever be giving this place 1 star is trippin!!! THIS PLACE IS YUMMY! Not your “whole in the wall Mexican“ but definitely a well deserved place! All the flavors were on point!! A perfect amount of grease, not too much not too little, great service, delicious margaritas. I liked their menu!! They had a mix of traditional and new style Mexican. On the enchiladas options there was mushroom enchiladas?!? I had NEVER seen that in any places in SA growing up so I had to try one that way, NOT BAD!! I got the 3 enchiladas dinner plate so my other 2 were my traditional go to with chicken verdes. Their chicken is labeled spicy, though I didn’t think it was spicy, it sure was delicious!!!! Also, they had so many sauces to choose from! Omg and I wanted to go ham on their à la carte options!! I’ve never seen a Mexican restaurant have so many options you can order on the side. It was hard to choose from a dinner plate or just get 5 things on the à la carte bc everything sounded amazing! My husband also got the shrimp Diablo and he was NOT disappointed! Great service, great food, great drinks!
