Panera Bread

Unfortunately, the buffalo chicken sandwich was a huge disappointment.  The flavor was off, and half-way thru it was decided to give up on it. However, the breakfast egg white sandwich was delicious. The eggs were cooked just right and the ingredients were fresh.  We also had a bagel; it was large with a terrific amount of sesame seeds. It was toasted well. It tasted fine, but was nothing to write home about. I think trying it untoasted would show the quality better. The chocolate chip mufflie was a fun treat later. It was soft, with a firm edge.

I am a fan of the food at Panera, you can get healthier food- fast. This location is better than most I have been to! The staff were friendly, although there didn't seem to be very many of them for the Sunday afternoon I visited. It's a busy shopping center, so I was surprised about that! There was a bit of a wait (5-10 min.) In line. Also, none of the "order in line" tablets were working, and several people were trying to use those. But the employees were friendly and helpful, the restaurant was clean, and the food was delicious!

You know... I love self order, self check, self pay, self aware, self love, and sometimes "keep to self" type of establishments. Nothing's more amusing than ordering on a tablet, signing in my own "order ready" buzzer, grabbing my own drink, setting the buzzer and drink... but yet being asked by the tablet if I would like to tip the wonderful staff. Which of whom I saw ABSOLUTELY NONE of to tell you the truth. In fact, after I ordered, I set my buzzer and drink down on the table to go wash my hands before I eat. I was in there may be one minute. I walk out and my order is on the table, next to my drink, with no buzzer (nor waiter) anywhere in sight. I could definitely get used to this. A little solitude and "self reflection" is good for the soul... every now and again. I will definitely be coming back, and oh yeah... The food was pretty good too!!
