How do you please 5 people looking for everything from a great burger to healthy vegan options? Try Galaxy Cafe! We visited for the first time this weekend and weren't disappointed.
The burgers were cooked to perfection and had lots of toppings. The hot veggie wrap was good, and the Galaxy Buddha Bowl was delicious. The veggies were just right - fresh, steamed, but not soggy.
The staff was friendly and helpful.
I like the fact that Galaxy posts their values, and their commitment to quality and service is clear in everything they do. Supporting local businesses benefits the community and their customers.
I'll definitely be back.
The food was outstanding. It reminded me how food SHOULD taste. The atmosphere is great. Clean, bright and friendly. The staff were happy, knowledgeable and helpful. I had the turkey brie sandwich and sweet potatoe fries. They melted in my mouth and the sandwich was light, tasty and also melted in my mouth. Pure quality in this food. Go there!
Galaxy was delightful! The food was amazing and flavorful. Very nice staff and it is decorated beautifully. The prices are a little higher than other comparable cafes of similar food quality, but by no means unreasonable. And they have brunch until 4pm on the weekends!
Great place for a meal! You order and pay at the counter, making it quick to get in and out.. The staff brings out all items and are very friendly.. even offering to get your refills and any condiments needed. Good choices for all for breakfast, lunch and dinner! The restaurant is clean and the food is yummy!
There's a little something for everyone here - pasta, unique chicken dishes, burgers, sandwiches, and more. Even if I should, I don't feel guilty after eating here, unless I have pasta or a burger of course. Overall, everything seems mostly fresh and somewhat light. My favorites have been the pork with cherry topping, and the chicken with prosciutto. I think the value is great, because it's about $7 - 9 a plate, but very delicious. The only thing I thought was mediocre was the chicken salad sandwich.
It's been a nice place for dates, but people of all kinds frequent here.
Also, it's nice that it is in the Triangle in case you want to walk around a bit or go grab some frozen yogurt afterward.
The food at this Galaxy Cafe is every bit as good as the other locations, and it's roomy and pleasant. I have nothing but good things to say about it from a dining perspective. My only down-ticks are due to the limited parking in the area, really an issue for the Triangle in general, and the fact that we like to get take-out from this location, and discovered they have a take-out surcharge of 5%, which I'm not very fond of.
This restaurant is always good. It's perfect for brunch, lunch and dinner. Tons of gluten free options (pasta, wraps, burgers and more). If you have a Go Local card you always get a free non-alcoholic beverage. My favorite is the spice decaf tea. You don't even have to sweeten it has so much flavor. My favorite item on the menu is the chimichurri steak wrap with sweet potato fries. If you are looking for a healthy dining option this is the spot.
