Not much of a fan of the taste of the barbecue sauce. I got the three meat plate. The sausage was a bit dry, the brisket was fatty as I was chewing it I was somewhat gagging because of the fatty texture in my mouth. The ribs are great. I'm not much of a fan of their barbecue sauce. It could use some improvements. But over, it's a decent place. A bit pricey. Three meat paid with a drink cost me roughly $24

Delicious pork ribs that took ten napkins just because of how juicy they were... So freaking good. Amazing green beans, slow cooked and still crispy. Boyfriend got the lean brisket and it was phenomenal. I wish I had tried the creamed corn and banana pudding.
We ate this at 1030a. We got BBQ for breakfast. Most people there when we arrived were eating breakfast and it looked amazing. But we ate BBQ for breakfast. (!!!!)
The team was great and friendly. It's clearly a local favorite as folks were pouring in from Church while we ate.
Very walkable from Oltorf, <5 minutes on a giant sidewalk from the La Quinta.
Previous reviews have said the area is shady ... All I can think is those reviewers must live in the suburbs. The only thing unsafe about this location is walking next to a frontage road with giant vehicles going 50mph, and even that is safer thanks to the 12' wide sidewalk. Seriously, we commented on how amazing the sidewalk is.

Only place ive ever been where bbq was ready to go in the morning.. full menu was available and looking fresh ..
I had the menudo and barbacoa and both were delicious 😋 .. we already Making excuses to go back being we are from corpus christi! Bring your appetite folks this place is 💣✨️

Our hotel staff recommended. Food was great, service quick, friendly staff and clean. Ended up eating lunch and breakfast there. Highly recommend.

The brisket is tender with good flavor. 5he charro beans are good. The prices are reasonable. They have a good selection of menu items.

Goodish food. I saw the reviews online and a couple friends said that Donn’s is good. And it is good, but not great.
The meat is a little dry, and the smoke ring is missing. Half of the brisket was way over cooked. I’d expect that in other states, not Texas. In Texas bbq needs to be cooked perfect. Something interesting is the sauce, it has vinegar like North Carolina vs a traditional tx bbq. Why four stars instead of three?
The potato salad is creamy, smooth, silky, and amazing. I have never had this texture before. It literally melts in your mouth. If I was thinking summer picnic, six out of five stars. But I wanted to bbq, and this fell short. But that potato salad, wow.
The lemon meringue pie is good too. Cooked to perfection.

Clean local with a little wear of seating. The moist brisket sandwich was delicious, the serving of cold slaw was very large but taste was not blend. Over all good lunch place.

The absolute best burger in Austin!!! Juicy meat patty, fresh bun, just delicious through & through!!! Didn't realize it would be so big so I had to pack half of it for later. Great flavor, speedy service, friendly staff. I:be had their BBQ, breakfast tacos, Tex-Mex and more and everything is always on point!! Fresh dessert including banana pudding & a variety of pies.
