Best fries in town, hands down! And this is coming from someone whose love language is French fries. Their burgers are also old fashioned and so yummy. They have a soda machine that can combine flavors and gigantic cup sizes, which I also love. All the employees have been working here for ages -- some decades -- so you know they must treat them well. It reminds me of that local burger joint you would go to as a kid after soccer games. Their drive-through is super fast and takes apple pay. It's a great local business to support.

I happened to be in the area for a meeting and decided to drop in for lunch. The place kind of reminds me of a hybrid fast food & diner because it has one long dining space with booths with self serve condiments and soft drinks and bussing your own table. Some customers were hanging out with a laptop or with friends. When I walked up to the counter, I was greeted by a friendly elderly gentleman who told me the popular items on the menu. I ordered The Engineer (1/2 lb patty) cheeseburger combo which they brought to my table. I really liked how there was a slice of cheese above and below the patty. Their default is the classic mustard based burger. Fries were good, and they had one of those more modern touch screen fountain drink dispensers. Overall, a good place to grab a bite. Better than Burger King. Would come again with my laptop for a bite to eat and a little remote working.

Whenever people ask me about Dairy Queen, I think of Wally's Burger because they are sister franchises, however, Wally's never went super mainstream and lost all of their greatness. I only know of one of these establishments and the chicken baskets never get old. Not the biggest fan of white gravy, I usually sub it for their homemade honey mustard. Enough said. You'll just have to try it for yourself. I was asked if I've ever tried the WallyBanger? Well if course, but you can only have so many before you have to enroll in a gym membership somewhere to work them off. The Oreo Banger is my favorite, but that's basic. I still frequent DQ for their pumpkin pie blizzard.

We are a long time fan of Wally's! My personal favorite is their chicken tenders: they are the best I've ever had! And the burgers are so good. Everything is fresh. Well worth the price for a truly local establishment.

I've never been inside but for fast food it's not bad at all. I love that I can add tacos to any meal and that they have Barq's Root beer!

I have been a patron of Wally’s for over 30 years. The quality of the food and the friendliness of the staff has remained consistent. Wally’s has, quite possibly, one of the best burgers in Austin!!

Wally's is clean and efficient, and the staff is probably the friendliest you'll meet in any eatery. Wally's is not a fast food burger joint, it's a family dining experience. The menu has a variety to please any palette. The burgers are just about the best in Austiin! Their other menu items are yummy, too. Enjoy!

Excellent service! Discount for veterans as well. The food is wonderful especially considering how low the price is. The soft serve is delicious and some of the best I've had.

You must order a shake or malt when you come here! They are terrific! The hotdogs are really good. They split them when they grill them; makes them hold your toppings better. They are always served with a fresh, soft bun. Hamburgers are always grilled nicely and are juicy. And there are a lot of different choices on the menu. I prefer a basic hamburger, but a friend tells me a bacon cheeseburger is superior! Either way, they always turn out just right.

Wally's is a locally owned family oriented burger shop with great burgers, amazing chicken strips as well as hot dogs. This place is very clean and the service was amazing! They are community supporters and if you have not been there you need to even if it's to check out the old styl dining car that its modeled after. The milkshake that is our favorite is the Butter Pecan!
