The food is authentic Vietnamese and is consistently good and fresh. They have the best Banh Xeo (Vietnamese Crepes) anywhere inside and outside of Vietnam, Canh Chua (Sweet & Sour Soup), Goi Ga (Chicken Salad), etc. The food is always fresh and tasty. The Banh Xeo is truly heaven, with chunks of plumb, juicy large shrimps and white meat, rich mung bean spread, and generous amount of bean sprouts. The crepe’s crust is crunchy and never greasy. The condiments are generous with fresh green leaf lettuce, slides of cucumber, strips of carrots and daikon, and fresh mints leaves. The dipping fish sauce is savory (make sure to mix a dab of chili garlic sauce into the fish sauce first). Other dishes are equally fresh and tasty. Try the Canh Chua (Sweet & Sour Soup) with Catfish and you will be heavenly rewarded with an especially aromatic yet light and refreshing soup composing of tangy pineapple and tomatoes, crunchy bean sprouts and elephant ear stems, aromatic rice paddy herb, and chunks of white, tender catfish in a sweet and tangy broth (you can find all these fresh ingredients at the Hong Kong Food Market next door, but you still need Sunflower’s mastery recipe to make your soup taste as good). Or try the lunch specials such as lemongrass chicken which includes a generous portion of chicken salad, satee’ green beans, a spring roll or egg roll, and a small bowl of the light version of Sweet & Sour Soup (without proteins and elephant ear stems).

If you’re looking for a good Vietnamese restaurant, I would recommend Sunflower. They give a VERY generous portion of Phở and at VERY fair price. I strongly recommend the combination beef Phở. Also if you are a coffee fan and never had Vietnamese drip coffee, I strongly recommend you try one here :) My best friends love the “Bánh xèo” “Five Spice Roasted Chicken” and the “Traditional Shrimp and Pork Salad” dishes here. Overall the food is tasty and cheap, what's more important? I’ve also done the family style dishes here and have enjoyed them. They were a little pricier than I would have preferred but outside of the calamari dish, I really enjoyed them. The calamari dish was probably the worst calamari dish I’ve ever had (and I love calamari.)

Came here with my boyfriend, surprisingly it was dead. Food was amazingly good, very authentic. Service was fast. Price was resonable. Would definitely come back

Went in for lunch. Greeted by our waitress who was smiling and helpful to us - new to Vietnamese cuisine. Food was really good at what seemed to us as very modest prices and servings large enough for 2 meals. When leaving, it seemed the whole family was there waiving goodbye. Definitely going to go back.

Really good lemongrass chicken and basil chicken dishes here. It isn't too busy, which is nice. Very large menu selection that seems like there's something for everyone. Decent price on the items, $9 to $13.

My favorite thing about Sunflower is that they don't overcharge you for good food and the people who work here are really, really nice. The quality and freshness of everything I've had here is consistently good! I get really excited about coming here. Their pho is some of the best I've had in Austin and it's really reasonably priced and you get a big helping! Highly recommended, and nearby too! :)

Great little place for Vietnamese. The pho is super authentic and I'd definitely recommend it. Going for lunch can be troublesome however as it is usually super packed. I'd recommend going when they open or a little after lunch rush. I've not been for dinner however. Also another great dish is the fried rice. Stereotypical I know but it was really delicious.

This is a nice place in a strip mall. I came later in the day for lunch and was surprised how busy they were. This is. Good sign of how the food is. The service was quick and friendly. The food didn't take long to make and tasted good. The menu is large with lots of options including vegetarian, so there is something for even the picky eaters.
