It’s Chinese style service, so dont expect much here - *Ambiance:* The restaurant was clean and cozy, though a bit dim. If they used brighter lights, it would create a warmer atmosphere. In my book, Sichuan River gets a 4 out of 5! If you enjoy flavorful food, friendly service, and a cozy setting, this place is a great choice. Give it a try and enjoy a tasty adventure!

So delicious! I used to come here years ago, moved away for several years, moved back and came back here for a meal and gosh, I will be back many more times! I do believe it’s changed ownership since I last lived in Austin but still good authentic Chinese food like I remember. It’s so difficult for me to find true Chinese food in central and South Austin. This is the place to go!!!

Amazing food. Super authentic Sichuan flavors and extremely fast service in person. We got sliced beef in chili sauce, dry fried green beans, Sichuan chicken and sautéed pea shoots with garlic. I’ve been craving authentic Sichuan food for so long and this place hit the spot! Especially the 夫妻肺片 (sliced beef in chili oil)
