This place we awesome! The staff was friendly and accommodating to our low carb restrictions. Page was super knowledgeable about all the food. We can't wait to go back!

This was just about the best gyros I have ever had....and bring from Chicago I have had many. Adding feta into the gyros was superb! Love that you are open for lunch. We are visiting from Dallas and truly enjoyed the food! Great location with tables in shade! Husband loved the baklava. Might hVe to come back tonight for spanakopita! Definite must stop on Rainey Street
If you order from a food truck on Rainey and it's not Big Fat Greek Gyros well .... I just feel bad for you. I am obsessed with Greek food and imagine my surprise when I bit into this gyro sitting at a picnic table and discovered the best I'd ever had!!! Believe the other reviews and order from here. The owner was also very friendly and proud of his food
This place deserves five stars.The gyros are really amazing and filling. I have tried the hummus and pita bread too which were also outstanding.
I would give it 10 stars if that was possible! I ordered the Lamb and beef Hercules and OMG it was the best tasting thing ever. It was stuffed full with fixins. So Very delicious! If you go, that is the thing to order, and those French fries were probably some of the best fries I’ve had. And the girl Caitlin that works on the truck, was so funny,sweet, and sassy, all at the same time I just loved her personality. This was the busiest truck on Rainy Street, and I can see why. So go and get the Lamb Gyro and say hello to Caitlin, promise you will love both!
Finally a legit gyros spot in Austin! Moving from Chicago I realized it was almost impossible to find a true gyros until I came across this food truck. Spoke with the owner, who was super nice and shared insights around Greece, along with a teammate who was also nice and friendly. I will definitely be back sooner than later…the taste was simply delicious!
Big Fat Greek Gyros serves amazing Gyros and presumably also delicious other Greek food. I had the beef gyros, my girlfriend had the chicken gyros and we were both vey satisfied. Pricing reasonable, staff friendly. Go for it! Had an absolutely amazing Gyros from this food truck. Could not believe how delicious it was and how fresh all the ingredients were. I think this is the best Gyro I have ever had! Keep up the good work!

The food here amazing! I’ve eaten here numerous times and it’s spot on every time. There’s always the same guy, Travis, and he’s a real people’s person. Hospitality is def his “thing”. He wants to see people happy and it’s obvious. Great guy, great food, stop reading and GO!
Wonderful food, great service & so fast! I love this place, we will always come here to satisfy our Greek food cravings. You can’t get any better here in town. Big Fat Greek Gyros does NOT disappoint!
Delicious food! My husband and I had the lamb gyro and a chicken gyro. Very nice man fixing our food and checking to make sure we were satisfied. Great service!
Also look forward to stopping by when I’m in Austin! Came by with my cousin who is not used to a little heat (British) and they were more than happy to remake his order without any spice. Definitely recommend what they are known for - Hercules Gyro 🤤
