Colleen’s is a whole vibe! Went to brunch and they did not disappoint. The food was delicious. The service was top tier! We parked in the parking garage behind Colleen’s. There was a little bit of a wait but it was worth the wait!! The ambiance was super cute. Go check this place out!!

We were a group of nine with reservations on Friday evening fairly early at 6:45. Apparently they had lost a reservation, and seated us at a high table instead of low table. The ambiance was moderately loud, but it was possible to carry on a conversation across the table, but not to persons down. The staff was friendly, but slammed. A variety of featured cocktails were five stars, and the Bloody Mary was very good and interesting to boot –with a bit of smoke flavoring and perhaps a bit beef broth in addition to typical bloody Mary components which were all well balanced. We had a variety of appetizers including biscuits, pimento cheese, and fried green tomatoes, all excellent and recommended, and deviled eggs which were good but a bit plain. The table had a variety of entrees including the pork chops, chicken pot pie, cauliflower, steak frites, two salads, and the shrimp and grits. All were reported to be very good, but the porkchop was slightly dry and the balsamic reduction sauce was overpowering the sides, the shrimp and grits had very spicy shrimp, although the grits were reported to be excellent, and the cauliflower was reported to be a bit crunchier than might have been preferred. All in all, very good but not outstanding.

The chicken and waffles are on point 👌🏽. They have a solid selection of hot sauces too. I got some hot honey on the side, that was a nice touch.
Their parking validation said the balance wasn’t paid so you might have to pay for parking

I recently met a friend of mine for weekend brunch at Colleen's Kitchen. We made reservations, and it's a good thing because the place was packed! The entire area around the restaurant was bustling with activity, and Colleen's has a choice of indoor or outdoor seating (there are misters in the outdoor area to combat the heat.) We were greeted in a friendly fashion and in short order seated at a booth inside. Our server was very nice and helpful, and constantly refilled our drinks. I ordered the grilled Yardbird (chicken sandwich) and my friend ordered the breakfast version of the Little Biscuit, as well as a side of potatoes. I have to say, the food was excellent! The chicken was moist and grilled to perfection, the homemade potato chips were crunchy and well-seasoned, the biscuit was just like Grandma used to make, and the potatoes were scrumptious. I wouldn't hesitate to go back to Colleen's in the future.

Fantastic dining experience at Colleen's kitchen! We made a reservation online and were promptly sat down after arrival. The waitress (I think her name was Addie) offered quick and patient service to me and my family. The food was warm, delicious and served in a very timely manner! The fried chicken biscuit was to die for. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting warm and not too loud. I've recently moved to the area and I plan on making this a regular spot!

Overall I had a great experience here. The decor is cute, the staff is friendly and there’s plenty of natural light making it welcoming.
The food was pretty good. The collard greens were amazing, the fried chicken was pretty great and the biscuits too.
My biggest complaint was there was a lot of flies and nats that kept getting all over us and other patrons. I get it’s difficult to deal with that issue but it made it difficult to fully enjoy the food.
The waiters were great and the bar tender made great drinks as well.

we got the mac and cheese, crab fritters, fried chicken plate, catfish plate, house punch. The punch was amazing, we accidentally came in during happy hour and weren’t disappointed! I was also a big fan of mac and cheese and crab fritters as well. bf said the side of chips that came with the fish were the best he’s ever had! everything is so cute and well decorated. We definitely have plans to come back for brunch or dinner.
the only complaint i have is that the breading was a little soggy on both chicken and fish.
We parked in the parking garage next door and they validated parking.

Very good food. Deviled eggs were delicious. I got the pan roasted chicken with mash potatoes and carrots. Husband got the chicken pot pie. Very good. They also do a 20% service charge to your ticket automatically. Helps pay the servers a livable wage. You can choose to tip on top of that.

Colleen’s Kitchen is one of my favorite places to enjoy delicious food and this day it was brunch. I forgot to make a reservation so was ready to find a place at the bar, but a table for two was available. This place has southern elegant charm and a perfect spot to bring your date to or wife in my case. We had several servers come by making us feel very welcomed. Each seem to have a role like a five star restaurant.
A grapefruit mimosa was placed in front me and was very tasty. There was a beautiful small flower arrangement in middle of our table making it very classy. I ordered a single Fried Chicken Little Biscuit and my wife decided on the Buttermilk Fried Chicken + Waffles. I starred over at the bar to see brilliant colors from the liquor bottles, decor and fruit bowl with glass behind it showing the clear blue sky outside.
Plates were set in front of us and our food was very presentable. My wife had a huge waffle in the shape of Texas and two big pieces of chicken next to it. It was sprinkled with powered sugar and maple syrup poured on it. I tasted the waffle and it was soft to my mouth tasting very good.
My little biscuit was not small where about the size of a chicken sandwich. I had the same fried chicken my wife had but instead of maple syrup I had gravy. After one bite I was in heaven. The biscuit and chicken had great flavor. Both plates were excellent.
Great service and great food keeps me coming back.
