Great burger and fries!. Love this place. Love their burgers because I really like building my own at their condiment bar. Always have fresh ingredients. Best thing about their burgers - the buns are baked fresh daily. Makes such a difference. The fries are battered, crunchy and cooked to perfection. A personal favorite, Burger Tex serves Diet Pepsi (instead of the usual Diet Coke, which I'm not real fond of). We often drive to this location from South Austin (hint, hint, anyone want to start up a franchise in South Austin?!)
Nice!. Good burgers. Consistent service and food. It's a burger, wth were you expecting? But the Spicy Bulgogi, oh yum!!!! Worth it!
Great food. I love the food! It's a good thing, the people aren't always in the best of moods. Luckily the food, really makes up for it. My mouth is watering just thinking about it.
Ummm... smell those buns?. The fresh baked buns alone make this place worth the visit.

I really enjoyed this place! The wait for my burger wasn't long, the price was fair, and I loved that they have a salad bar so you can add your own veggies to the burger. The best part: the fries! The fries are crunchy and amazing. Those fries coupled with the juiciness of the burger really makes this restaurant 5-star worthy.
They have the best burgers! Seasoned well and the burger bar where you can add all the toppings yourself is great. My buddy gets the veggie burger and I do beef. Their buns are super fresh and soft, but toasted just right. Their fries are fantastic! A super crispy coating reminds me of tempura batter. Don't go for the ambiance, but go for the best burgers in town!

Wanted a classic burger and fries; Burger Tex came to mind. Perfect choice! Cheeseburger, fries with onion rings and a root beer. Little has changed over the years. Beer signs and TV. This comfortable and casual place has served Austinites for many years. Always reliable! Everybody eats here. Parking.
Good burger for a great price. Around 7$ for a 6oz burger, fries, and a drink. Condiment bar is awesome, so i could load up my burger. Fresh buns and nice staff. 😊 I'll be back.

Best fries in town and Korean BBQ burger was delicious. If they don't remind you, just add lettuce and onion for the perfect burger. Will be back soon.

Very underrated. They have great burgers and amazing unique burgers that you can't really find at other joints. Bulgogi burger! Ribeye steak burger! Come on you can't beat that. It has a very small town feel to it, which gives it a certain charm. I love this place and I'll be a repeat customer for life.
