Waterloo Ice House N. Capital Of Tx Highway

We chose this spot bc of the large playground for the kids. The parents had a table right next to a large window so we could keep an eye while they played outside while we waited the long wait for our food. Service was not great, but she said they were shorthanded. But they also messed up the billing at the end and couldn't find half of our checks. It delayed folks for a basketball game so that was a bummer and threw a wrench. The food is decent but not incredible, so you're mainly going for the vibe, drinks and playground for the kids.

Some of the waiting staff was kind of weird. We sat down ower selfs and we didn't get waited for a little bit. I'm not sure if the people are waiting for that part of the restaurant. Didn't think we spoke English. So they avoided us. Then this very nice waitress asked if we had been waited on. And she took care of us . After that everything was good. I think even the manager was a very nice person we think he was the manager. Also, if you're waiting on the table next to one that is not yours, ask if you want a tea refill . Wouldn't hurt you, too, ask.

Waterloo Ice House came through in a pinch for hosting a last-minute birthday party! They provided a great private room, and our waitress Nichole was amazing, offering friendly and attentive service. Kudos to manager Tony for overseeing a fantastic experience. Delicious food, lively ambiance - highly recommended for any event!

We stopped by after a day by the river with our puppy. We were greeted with excitement and quickly seated. We sat outside, which was no big deal in this heat, because each outdoor table had a personal cooling unit to keep up cool! Our waiter not only took great care of us, but our puppy as well! We were checked on by several different smiling faces. I cannot emphasize the friendliest of our service enough! Everyone acted like they were excited to exceed our expectations! 10 out of 10!
