My favorite Austin breakfast spot. The staff (baristas, servers and kitchen) are wonderful! Sometimes we order Toast takeout, others we eat in restaurant. Coffee and any specialty latte are great - I enjoy the Fog Cutter coffee. I love the breakfast quesadillas, my wife the pecan pancakes. Good sandwiches for lunch too.

Great place for a cozy weekend brunch. Not located on a very busy street. Right next between a strip mall and laundromat so parking can be tricky but usually quite a few spots available. Food is good, even though one of our dishes were cold which was expected to be hot/warm. Service is quite fast, may be one of the fastest for a brunch place. Prices are reasonable. Indoor and outdoor patio seating available. Dogs are allowed for outdoor seating. Indoor ambiance is quite nice and has a modern look. Coffee is pretty good here too. Definitely give it a try.

Solid brunch spot under the radar. Never too crowded but always has reliable diner food and vibe. Food won’t wow your socks off but not bad. Throw it your reg brunch rotation.

I live nearby Austin Java and go all the time! Maybe too much, lol. Their breakfast tacos are delicious, especially if you choose to build your own. The PB&J omelette is my wife’s go to. The drive through is always pretty quick, even if there is a line to the street. Their coffee is also fantastic as well as the wait staff. Sad that they are down to their last restaurant, but hope they stick around!

I dream about the avocado toast, migas, breakfast quesadillas, and the salsa. I went today and decided to do the buy one get one free breakfast tacos (Tuesdays), and they were HUGE! Best $4 ever spent. The coffee is my fav local roast, too. I had an iced Vietnamese with lavender syrup today and it hit the spot, as always. The cold brew is delicious, and if you prefer drip be sure to try the Fog Cutter. So good! The crew is always super friendly, the service is quick, and it's a great spot to grab a table and either relax or bring your work. If you're ordering for a crew, try the catering. They have breakfast and lunch options that are top notch.

I work next door. Sometimes I just walk up to the drive thru and order. They love it and they even hold the order when I have to run back to the shop. My favorite orders: Avocado Toast Peanut Soup (daily special … not always on the menu). They are lovely!

i like austin java but today when i ordered my avocado eggs benedict for pick up i asked to add on bacon and was told it comes on it and i asked again if they were sure because i know it normally doesn't- and was told yes i'm sure it already comes with bacon: and to my surprise no bacon when i got home. ppl want bacon on sundays. give us the bacon! i stole some from my bfs chicken sandwich - which idk if this is on purpose but that sandwich is insanely large. anyways i'll be back and i'll order again but plz just add the bacons.

My sister recommended Austin Java to us, and I’m so glad we stopped by. Fell in love after the first visit <3 <3 <3 Such a warm, and welcoming atmosphere! Also LOVED the fact that there was Spongebob playing on one of the tvs — just made my inner child smile. You can tell that there’s a lot of passion & positive energy that goes into this business & it’s definitely felt & received on our side as the customer! New favorite brunch place. Will be running back for more soon! Avocado toast was AMAZING. Could eat it 3 meals a day. Waffles with strawberries - SO soft & sweet & rich. I enjoyed the breakfast quesadilla- loved the salsa, and my partner had the Californian omelette - also delicious! Ingredients and produce taste fresh from the Earth, especially the strawberries and tomatoes and avocados: so so yummy. Makes all the difference. We were greeted with smiles & shown outstanding service & care the entire time we were there. Thank you for the most Perfect Tuesday afternoon brunch, left with a happy tummy! Would recommend to everyone & anyone.
