I’ve never had Thai food before but it was amazing!! I had the pad ped with shrimp. They made it flavorful and spicy. And even gave me 5 fresh Thai chilis to add more spice that were perfect. My bf had their spicy tuna rolls and another roll that had bacon avocado and crab in it. They were both amazing too. I will definitely be back to try more on the menu.

Hubby & I had dinner for a special date night. Everything was so delicious & service was superb. The best part of our experience was the fact I could go to a fabulous restaurant with a HUGE gluten free menu that was freshly prepared and of excellent quality. As we were seated, I was handed a beautiful menu, a REAL menu, that only had safe items that I could eat. It was a first for me since I had to go gluten free in 2007. Our server was fantastic. She knew the menu very well and even asked if there were any other food ingredients I needed to avoid. For those who can eat anything, this is not a big deal. However, for someone who can be sick for days when accidentally eating food cross contaminated with gluten, this is a life-changing thing. Tonight, I could enjoy a meal with my love & not worry about anything except maybe over-indulging. LOL Thank you for serving healthy, amazing, gluten free food everyone at Ka-Prow. Thank you, Chef O, for creating such an amazing place. We'll be back!! :-)

Amazing! Tried this restaurant for the first time and I truly enjoyed it all. The Thai iced coffee was soooo good! I had curry and fried rice with shrimp! Turned out to be delicious! My sister ordered duck and it also was so flavorful! I recommend this place and I would definitely come back. I would love to try other foods from the menu. Our server Woody was so kind and helpful with any questions we had. Simply great!
This is one of our fav places in Austin. We try to go once a month. The food is fantastic and the service is excellent. I love the curry dishes and my gf always gets the crystal noodle soup. Definitely check this place out if you're in the area!
This place is incredible!! Went here for dinner last night on a whim and it was so amazing we ended up coming back today for more! Service is awesome, all the servers are super nice and helpful with recommendations, very attentive to allergies and food preferences. The atmosphere was wonderful, tonight they even had live music (a guy playing piano)! All the food we’ve gotten has been so super flavorful and perfect portions. We’re not from Austin but definitely will stop here whenever we are in the area in the future because this was just phenomenal.
(They also have a fish tank and the fish are so pretty and make me happy.)
My family has gone here for years, they are amazing. The food is always fresh, they are very knowledgeable and sensitive to food allergies and Chef O makes amazing sushi!! (I had already eaten an egg roll- they are just so good!)
My wife and I love this place. Everything we have tried on the menu has been very delicious. Our favorites are Pad Kee Mao, Yellow Curry, Ka-prow street food and Ka-prow noodles.
The taste is very consistent and the spiciness is never overwhelming.
The service here is also very good. They are also taking your order and serving you with a big smile and are also very accommodating for any special requests.
Great little spot with beautiful interior, super nice staff, and delicious food! A true Thai place where you take the heat level warning seriously!! The papaya salad was perfect and the chef Ka-Prow Udon was amazing.
Omg, where do I begin?! This place has the best food, especially for such an extensive menu and such affordable prices! The shrimp pad Thai, eel sushi, bacon fried rice, wonton soup, Thai iced tea, and spicy chicken curry were ALL a 10 out of 5!! The waitress was awesome and always "on it"; the place was very clean and romantical, and this is me and Babe's new fave in Austin!
I have been here a few times and the food never disappoints. Sometimes, I order ahead and pick up and the transaction is always smooth.
I often have trouble finding Asian meals that have a gluten-free variety and I love the number of options they have for me here. I typically get the Pad See Ew which is flavorful and you choose your level of spice. The spring rolls are also a very good appetizer.
Lunch can get a bit busy so plan accordingly. The inside is not very large and can fill up quickly but, again, they offer carry-out which is helpful. I would definitely recommend a visit.
Ka-Prow is the best! We eat here pretty often and I have never been disappointed. I love their fried rice especially though. I had never been a fried rice person before, I used to always go for noodles but they are so good! I love their noodles too! They are super accommodating for allergies as well as my husband has a peanut allergy and they are very helpful and nice about it. I highly recommend Ka-Prow!
Best Thai food I've ever had in Austin. You can't go wrong with this restaurant. Everything is great, from the food, the servers, to the atmosphere. Food comes in big portions too. Some food is really spicy (of course I know Thai food is spicy but I didn't expect to be that spicy) so make sure to check with servers before ordering.
