Great spot to watch a game with more TVs than most on 6th Street. They normally have live music or a DJ. Outdoor seating and a balcony.
The beers were a little expensive at $7 each for cans of Shiner Bock, but the bartender was nice.
We went around 6:00pm on a Friday.

Such a fun place! There are multiple levels and stages, each with their own vibe. There's live music and a DJ, so literally anything for anyone. It's right on 6th so it's definitely right where all the action is. People kept recommending it, so it's definitely the spot to be.

Great little pub in the heart of downtown Austin. We stopped in for a round of drinks on a weeknight. It was relatively slow then, but so was ever other place in the area. Drinks and service were excellent, and we found the prices to be very fair. Definitely a great little watering hole worth checking out, especially if you enjoy live music.

Shakespeare's is a cool little bar. The reason it's cool is that they almost always have some good live music. It's usually one or two musicians in a tight little corner. But you can count on the music being good.

Went here to watch my nephews band play. Very warm welcome from the staff. Including Kevin who offered me a hot spot off his phone as I'd got no data. A long thin downstairs bar had a live music act. There were pool tables out back. Upstairs has a house band on a Thursday. They were great fun. There are two bars upstairs. It's a big sprawling venue with good vibes and a flow of 6th street people coming in during the night. Wonderful open balcony upstairs where the band play.
