From the flavorful enchiladas, to the best tortilla soup I have ever eaten, to the fantastic service, I think this is one of the best Taquerias in town (and that's in a town full of great food). We have even been there when there was a mariachi band! Very authentic.

Doesn’t look promising from the outside, but am so glad we went in. The service was very fast and friendly. Most of all the food was delicious halfway through my plate, I didn’t think I would be able to finish it, but devoured it anyway, was too good

Had a great experience here. This was one of the only restaurants in the vicinity open past 10pm, and it's definitely worth checking out for a late night snack. I got cheese dip for an appetizer, and it was amazing, though it was a bit spicy to me. I also got the gordita, which was good as well. The service was great, though I did reference my Spanish-speaking friend a couple times to talk to the server.

Really great services and large portions. I really like that it’s right next to my motel as well.

This place has quickly become one of my favorite spots for a great lunch. They always give large portions and the taste is incredible. The staff is also really kind and your food arrives quickly. Love it!! Upon reading other reviews I just want to say: I don’t care what consistency the refried beans are they taste DELICIOUS!

Incredible meal. I got the chicken enchiladas with verde sauce and they were fantastic. Also, I usually skip the rice at Mexican or Tex-Mex places but this one I actually ate, it was that good. Love the quirky building too.

Large portion sizes, fairly authentic dishes, and rapid service times makes this a great place to visit when you cant decide where to eat. My only issues are with decor and lack of vegetarian options. The building itself is unique and provides an interesting atmosphere to eat in. However, the interior design leaves a plethora of exposed cables and mismatched wall decoration. This isn't to say that the building is dirty, on the contrary it was spotless when I visited. The other issue is with the vegetarian options. My partner ordered a meal without the meat, and was served the dish with meat. It took a minute for the issue to correct, but again the service time was very fast so the issue was corrected promptly. The lack of dedicated vegetarian options is rather disappointing.

Third trip here and it's always been great - best avacado salsa I've ever had and the service has always been good Edit - well I keep coming back again and again and all that had changed is the color of the building and they don’t sell sombreros anymoee

Food was delicious as ALWAYS! Everyone was extremely nice and helpful, except our own waitress... Little place, HUGE servings. It's a Must every single time we visit Austin.

I found this place after my decade-long favorite restaurant closed...Taqueria Los Jaliscienses on Airport. So similar to their green sauce, asada tacos and micheladas. I was delighted to find them even closer to my home. Until I received the bill that is. 4 tacos 2 dos equis and 2 micheladas came to almost $50 with tip 🤯 $9 for a michelada. The nachos were $15.99. These are almost Pappasitos prices for hole-in-the-wall atmosphere. I love holes in the wall but not for those prices. So disappointing. There's no way the clientele at the motel it's "connected" to can afford these prices. So weird. If their prices were more affordable surely they would do way more business in that area. It was empty on a Thursday night. I get it... food is expensive but they aren't using cuts of meat like Pappasitos or Lupe. I wanted this to be my new spot 😔

We have been coming here for years...I think I have tried everything on the menu, with the exception of the Lengua...just not there yet..lol...Truly a whole in the wall dive joint with great food and great service...we prefer lunch over breakfast...everything come out hot and fresh...and seriously some of the best green sauce in town...

Our fajita quesadilla was fresh and delicious although some of the meat was chewy. The service was fast and friendly.
