Had dinner here. Ordered several plates. Everything was so delicious. Top notch. A definite must eat. I'm looking forward to eating there again. All the food was fantastic.

Whip In - Coolest Indian bar / restaurant I have come across in Austin. Super chill vibe, live music playing and decent outdoor patio space. Try out their Chana Masala, Paneer Tikka, Samosa, Daal Tadka and Garlic naan. They got wide array of draft beers. Foggy Eyes is the best. They got some free parking space in the back side and also some street parking options. Definitely recommend this place!

store it once was from retro neon sign to the commercial refrigerators full of beer for take away. . The food brilliant several vegan choices . My flexitarian mates assure the CMT dims on par with ant east-end curry hut and yes this is a high compliment. Enough beer and ales for any taste. Servers are amazingly fast attentive. Delicious authentic Indian food. Generous portions. I had lamb vindaloo, bhindi masala, aloo gobi, dal and lamb kebobs. Wonderfully spiced and flavorful.
Whip In has gone through a lot of changes in recent years. I think they've hit a home run with this new menu.

It's definitely a hidden gem if you like real and simply delicious Indian food. The beer/wine selection is extensive. Definitely recommend if you're craving Indian cuisine.

We ordered the Whipin platter. It came with with an underwhelming amount of meat that was mostly dry. We also ordered the hummus which was very good. The credit card machine wasn't working which we weren't informed of until after we ordered. I tried to order a side of Tikka Masala as it says you can get a side for a dollar on the on the online menu, but was told I could only buy it by the pint for 5 dollars. The beer and wine selection is great for a reasonable price. Hoping it was just an off night.
